Great place for a stop over
We stayed for a couple of nights at Ts tennis resort on our way to Sydney. The resort was fully equipped with tennis courts, mini golf, pool, kids play area. The 2 bed unit allocated to us was ideal for a family with 2 toilets, kitchen and Aircon. The kids loved the free tennis and breakfast. I strongly recommend this place if you need a place to stay be it couple of days or a week.

A comfy stopover
Ill have to allow myself some time to explore Port Macquarie next time I pass through.
T's was surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting much more than a cheap motel, I had booked a dorm room but due to a miss communication between T's and Wotif I had to upgrade to a private room with a communal toilet and shower down the hall. This wasn't a problem for me, the upgrade cost was negligible maybe $10 (but I got a room to myself)
The room, amenities, hotel, tennis resort, pool and mini golf was immaculately kept. checking in took 5 mins and checking out was just to leave the key at reception. I had breakfast included but left before it was available.
Be aware if you are arriving late at night ie driving there after work from Sydney or Brisbane reception closes at and you will be stranded.
Next time I'm passing through on a budget I'll stay here again.

Budget room was surprisingly c....
The budget double room was big enough, with aitcon, tea/coffee facilities, and fridge.
Good fast wifi, good showers, comfy bed, nide little sitting area. Swimming pool and tennis courts.
Free breakfast in the morning. We needed to leave early, so just had some crumpets with juice. As we were eating, the owner came in and started frying up a pile of sausages, vacon and eggs.
Also a selection of cereals and fruits to help yourself to.
Great place to stay for a night or 2, highly recommended.

Half a 2 bedroom unit.
We stayed at T's during a high demand weekend in November, so felt happy to have secured accommodation at all. We booked a budget 2 bedroom for around $180 per night. Wasn't expecting much to be honest. What I totally was not expecting was half of a 2 bedroom arrangement whereby one bedroom had been turned into a bedsit with bed, couch and kitchen in one room - OK, just passable. BUT, the second bedroom was a converted bathroom. A board had been placed over a large corner spa bath and two very narrow and uncomfortable foam mattresses placed on top of the board. The walls tiled, the ceiling low, no curtain on window and an ill fitting door into the room that is now used as the bathroom. No fan, no air con. The double bunk in main room had a foam mattress, most uncomfortable. No plates or utensils provided. We asked for a kettle and this was provided. I pointed out that we had been provided with half of what we prepaid for, ie half a 2 bed unit and my complaint was met with a sympathetic tone and expertly deflected. My husband requested to move on first seeing the room, but was told that nothing available. We noticed that the better unit next door ( the other and better half of our dump) was unoccupied for our stay. The following day I tried to qualify with management if we were actually in the correct category of room, we were then asked if we wanted to move. It was suggested that a better available room was worth $400 a night and I didn't want to be hit up with an additional bill and the language barrier prevented me from properly verifying how much extra this was going to be. So we stayed where we were. Most uncomfortable stay. The room was freshly painted and the useable section of the bathroom ( not the bathroom part) really quite ok and new. I expect that management will expertly reply to this with some rubbish about how they attempted to help and the hotel was full etc. We know it wasn't full, but they saw an opportunity to sell the bigger room at a higher rate and so told us we couldn't have it. The place is shambolic and not the cleanest, but well suited to large groups, sports teams etc. pool is OK, but again the pool furniture is brick a brack style, nearly rustic, but actually just stained and filthy.
