Don't stay here
Not happy. I booked my room on Expida and i have a copy. I asked for a queen bed and single bed. I was given a queen bed only. Told there were no more rooms left. Not happy about the market on Sunday morning. We could hear them setting up really early in the morning. I emailed you about this and got no reply. I think that is so rude. I won't be staying here again

Pay a bit extra for a Better R....
I always read the reviews when booking accomodation. My daughter is in a wheelchair and finding accessible accomodation close to appointments is always tricky.
Our appointments were at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance in Aquatic Dr Allambie Hts so was close by. On booking I told of my concerns and it was suggested I have Room 11 at $130 per night including continental breakfast.
If I didn’t choose this I would have been paying close to $200 per night in Manly and also taxis to and from which would have added up.
I feel the room was a fair price for its size and condition and location. Yes it could have been cleaner but the beds and bedding were very good clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and there was a small kitchenette.
There are major roadworks going on all around which are a bit inconvenient, but there is an accessible bus stop at the rear of the property.
We did have a couple of issues which the staff could not help with immediately, poor TV reception and Wifi, but I was very more then happy with their efforts to make it right.
The Bistro has really tasty and reasonably priced meals and Chinese Thai takeaways 5 mins away.
We would be happy to stay there again.

I didn't take the advice of others & took the gamble on staying, well where does one start, we got room 1 on the corner & had to walk past other rooms which did not have numbers so appears they are not used, up the other side appears to be let out to construction workers. Room is very rundown, no aircon or heating. We went to the bistro for dinner, nothing flash just pub grub but was ok, staff clearly don't have any interest in what they are being paid for, when we arrived there was nobody in reception & the sign said go to the bar so in we walked thru & nobody there either so continued into the bistro where a staff member was too busy on her phone to notice customers were there, she said she would get someone to come out to reception, again in the bistro when we went for dinner staff again too busy either on their phones or talking with each other, on returning to our room we noted there were no lights on along the pathway, they were there just not working or switched on. No good enough management.

Terrible! Wish I'd read review....
Nice things first: staff were friendly, parking free and bed ok. Otherwise, a terrible little hotel. I knew the price was cheap, but i booked through a discount website at the last minute, so assumed it was a good deal (i was wrong, just usual cheap price). There are much much better hotels out there in the same price range, so do yourself a favor and by pass this one. Dirty rooms, cobwebs, mould and hair in shower. significant damage to walls and roof. Bathroom very water damaged, in fact it rained during my stay and the window leaked badly. I actually couldn't bring my self to use the shower and I'm not normally very fussy. fridge and tv were welcome inclusions. Sheets clean, but sheets used as doona cover. Unfortunately, people smoked and talked outside my room all evening, the smoke and noise filtering into the room made it very unpleasant. I nearly considered leaving, but after a very long drive, i didn't know where else to go and instead used towels to try to seal the door. I left as soon as i woke in the morning, and certainly wouldn't return.
