Beautiful, tranquil cottages

My family and I booked a two bedroom cottage to break up a long drive from Victoria back up the Hume Highway. We picked this largely because finding luxury two bedroom places was not as easy as we expected - that said we could not have been more delighted with our choice. The cottages are attached to a very big golf club and you check in at the Club House (which is also lovely and has lots of amenities like tennis courts, spas etc), but then you travel about a 1km down a track to a handful of the cottages - so you feel very removed from everything, its quite and quite lovely. Lots of kangaroos all around which is also a nifty/unusual feature. The cabin itself was very comfortable, clean and welcoming - nice touches were everywhere (wine on arrival, continental breakfast including things for a coeliac in the family, a fireplace). We would have no hesitation recommending this to anyone looking for somewhere upmarket and peaceful in the Yarra Valley.

Perfect! Ideal for what we wer....

We organized for our entire wedding party to stay at the cottages for 2 nights. It was fantastic! Many of the group were traveling over from the US, which is where we currently live, and it was an absolutely perfect setting for what we needed. The property is awesome! It gave guests the flexibility to join in on celebrations and socialize as they pleased or enjoy some privacy, and offered up a great opportunity for guests to get out and about and see some wildlife. We hosted a BBQ in the 4bb cottage, which was ideal for the occasion and very well setup. The only minor issue we had with booking the event from overseas and managing payments/cottage assignments of 30+ guests was due to communications in the months leading up. In the end though it was all good, the staff and services were very accommodating. Execution and hospitality during the stay was flawless, and we'd love to do it all over again!

Perfect Accommodation for Fami....

It was our first time staying here and definitely going to be here soon! The check in was easy and Tracy drove a van to guide us to the cottage that we should check in to. We got a warm welcome with a bottle of Yarra Valley wine, fruits basket and breakfast basket. The ambience was really good for a night or two stays. Everything has been nicely arranged and was informed of things that we can do there. We love the fresh bake bread loaf! <3 You can also purchase a BBQ basket for BBQ at night or get to nearby Coles to get some foods to cook a simple / BBQ dinner at the cottage. The experience is something that you would not want to missed. You will wake up with Kangaroo hoping around the cottages, for our case, it is just right infront of our bedroom. Checking out was easy, that you can just drop your key at the Drop Key Box before passing by the reception. And voila, you are done with checking out. Thank you so much for all the effort and we definitely would and have recommended this cottage to our friends and family.

Beautiful country stay

Stayed one night at the Yering Gorge Cottages and what a stay! Such a beautiful property with gorgeous bush walks and animals including visits from cockatoos and kangaroos. Highly recommend waking up early and walking down to the Gorge. Cottages are spacious and the breakfast is delicious. Fantastic place to locate yourself in the Yarra Valley. Just wish we had more time here to relax and enjoy.

Best Part of our Australia Tri....

This is not your topical hotel where you get bell boy to carry your luggages, room clean everyday and 247 undivided attention when you dial that “0” on the phone. If you can get pass that and loves kangaroos experiences, this is the place to try! We booked the place as as it’s close to the winery we planned to go. We managed to book last min for both Sunday and Monday night stay in Apr. I love the cottage design where you can view the outside surrounding easily. The cottages are located inside a golf course, and you can call for assistance from 8am-6pm. We informed them that we arrived later than 6pm and was sent details via email on how to get through the locked gates. I guess we were lucky to book it last min as Sunday and Monday aren’t that popular. Most wineries and restaurants are opened from Friday to Sunday. Thus, you might want to book a few months in advance if it’s on the peak time. A picture speaks a thousand words! See my pictures and decide for yourself!
