Hi, tried Shoreline for the first time for mothers day. Ordered chicken ranch salad with no bacon costing $25.00. I was served a bowl of coleslaw with if I was lucky one dried up chicken tender which was awful and likely bought from No Frills. It was chopped up into four tiny pieces which was mainly dried up crumb. My disappointing meal experience was raised with Management. Apparently not interested nor prepared to resolve to maintain good customer relations. Don't waste your money, regardless of the recent refurbishment, this a place to avoid.

A very comfortable room. King size bed, I think the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Great water pressure and fluffy large white towels. Coffee pod machine (nice touch). The room was extremely quite quiet. We arrived late in the afternoon and the service was friendly and professional. We didn't have dinner however the place was jumping, so the food must be great. Breakfast the next morning was delicious.
Will definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

My daughter, granddaughter and I had booked in for dinner. We were asked to come in early at 6 as it was practically booked out, which we didn’t mind. We ordered a shared entree, 2 mains and a child’s meal, as well as drinks. My daughter wanted to order chips and salad instead of mash and beans with her meal, but was told they will not change their menu options.....no apology. Instead she ordered a meal that came with chips and salad. The child’s meal arrived, then our mains....no entree. Said they could bring it out after we had our mains, which we declined. The salad on our mains was just a bit of dry, packaged coleslaw....very disappointing. Dessert was ordinary. When I went to pay I said we didn’t get our entree and was told “oh well, at least you weren’t charged for it”. Also the children’s play area was outside....not good with Tasmania’s cooler weather. Sadly we won’t be back, which is disappointing as it was recommended to us by a former employee. PS. we were so rushed that we were out before 7pm!!

Gluten Free? Bah bow.
The newly renovated dining area at the Shoreline is gorgeous. The staff are beautiful and the menu is lovely. But they have NOTHING gluten free on the tapas menu. This is my fourth visit... the first time I bought my own gf crackers so I could share a cheese platter- the next two I refrained from eating and today we had a party of five and we all left and went elsewhere. There IS a gluten free menu for meals ... but when you're with a group who just want to snack and chat.. being the only one eating a meal is not fun. Not even a gf bowl of chips available... which is usually the go to gf option.
I'm sadly not going to waste my time going back there now which is a pity because I think the venue is lovely.

New Renovations are great, mea....
We went on a monday night as a family of 5, 2 adults & 3 kids under 5- one in a highchair. We hadnt made a booking but staff said there was room for us, as it was very early. She was very attentive as she put us out the back near the outdoor play equipment, perfect! New Renovations are great & impressive. Staff came straight away for drink orders, & they arrived soon after. Meal orders were taken fast. Ours & the kids meals arrived at the same time, which is fine, kids meals are a great size. Kids had a wonderful time playing outside on the new equipment & all of our meals were lovely. All the staff we dealt with were friendly & made nice conversation with ourselves as well as the kids. After reading some of the other reviews, our experience there was far from theirs, maybe they went on a bad night! But we will definitely return.
