Great place to stay
This is a simple and very handy park to stay. The beach is just across the road a nice cafe right on the corner and the transport is just outside the gate. There are no amenities for children such as park or games rooms but that suited us just fine as you don't have to pay extra for the things that you don't use. The camp kitchen was well fitted out. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Have stayed at Ocean Beach Caravan Park many times with our caravan however this time I was attending a work related conference so I was on my own so stayed in one of the parks cabins. I stayed in Cabin 2 across the road from Miami Beach and I cannot fault anything about my stay. I stayed two nights over the weekend , the ocean view cabin was clean, and well appointed. At night it was quiet ( surf club next door had a do on one night but it was all over by 10pm) . Staff were very friendly and accommodating , and I felt safe at all times ( being on my own). I can’t fault this park (love everything about it) will be back.

Almost on the beach
This RV park is just across the road from the beach and has gated access to the beach. Sites are level and have a concrete pad for tables and chairs. The RV parks on the grass. Sites have electricty, water and gray water dump. Nice park for extended stay

Stayed with family during Comm....
Stayed in a beachfront cabin with husband and teenage sons. Great spot with Miami lifesavers over the road, cafe on the corner and beachfront path.Cabin was well equiped with kitchen equipment (even champagne glasses), large lounge with pay TV, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and verandah with barbecue. Park has a small shop for newspapers, bread, milk & essentials. Staff friendly. Aldi & Coles within walking distance & public transport at front of the park.

Commonwealth Games GOLD
We recently attended the Commonwealth Games and stayed at Ocean Beach Tourist Park - 2 adults and 3 children (11,9,6).
The park was full but the park grounds and amenities were immaculate. It is a smaller park but what we LOVED, espacially the kids, is that it was on the beach front. You literally walk across a very quiet street and are on the beach. This more than made up for not having a pool in the caravan park.
We also liked that we were out of the hustle and bustle of Surfers yet a quick drive away if we wanted to go there. It’s also a very easy walk over the headland to North Burleigh surf club for inexpensive but good dinners.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
