Best girls weekend accommodati....
I booked the main house (3 bedrooms) for a girls weekend and we all loved it. The place had everything we needed and even though it rained most of the weekend, we had plenty of room to sit on the couches and hang out. The bedrooms were fantastic, the shower & bath in the main bathroom was huge. The place is huge and we loved all the extra's - like coffee machines/coffee/ beautiful bathroom products ! The manager on site Peggy, was very helpful and happy to assist with anything we needed. Highly recommend this house for a group getaway.

Lovely, unique, but a little n....
We loved staying here when my parents were visiting. The place is truly unique, with a tropical feel to it and not a backpacker in sight. There was plenty of wildlife, including a huge lizard out in the garden. The place had plenty of room, although the Birdsong chalet which was advertised as up to 6 people certainly didn't cater for 6. There were two double beds, and the staff were able to drive 'down' (unclear from where) to provide us with a pop-up bed. That was horrid so my sister was resigned to the couch as the only single member of the party.
That aside, I did love the place. It was a bit further away from Byron which meant it was generally really quiet, although the windows and walls are not thick so bird noises and drunken hipsters playing guitars can grate on you.
All in all, excellent value for money and a gorgeous little place. As long as you're not looking for 5* luxury, you'll be sure to enjoy your stay here.

The MOST romantic getaway
My husband and I stayed here for a night while we were visiting his family in Australia (from Canada). We stayed in the Dragonfly’s Rest room and were blown away. The price point was phenomenal considering the peace, tranquility, romance and how close it was located to the main streets in Byron- just a quick 10 minute walk.
We spent the majority of our time in the outdoor living space with a beautiful fountain, massive tub (comfortably fits two and a ledge for the candles, already provided with the accommodation) and beautiful bright lounging couch.
I had looked at some other personal getaway spots in and around Byron and was looking at price points around $400.00. The Garden Buree’s seemed a bit too good to be true for the price of $240.00 a night. Because the price was so low, I thought there had to be a flaw: possibly being able to hear other guests, having a shared bathroom, horrible hostess, paid parking, etc.
We didn’t hear any other guests, we had our own private outdoor bathroom, shower, tub, stand up propane heater, parking was free and the hostess was PHENOMENAL- so kind, friendly and welcoming.
My husband walked in and said the pictures did NOT do the accommodation justice.
I would suggest this place to anyone and everyone. I have bragged about it to anyone that will listen.

Birthday Celebrations at the G....
We were a party of 3 couples enjoying our friend's birthday and the villa we stayed in accommodated everyone beautifully. Upon arrival we were shown around the home and discovered a lovely cold bottle of champagne in the fridge. The heated spa and the plunge pool were lovely additions to a highly enjoyable stay. Definitely stay there again.

What a unique place!
My wife and I stayed in the “Dragonfly’s Rest” room here, and we thought it was a great place, not quite like any place we’ve stayed!
We thought the visiting water dragon was a neat little extra...it would just hang out next to the fountain/pond and observe us getting ready in the morning! We could also check out the brush turkeys jumping around in nearby trees while we showered!
The bedroom/sitting room area was nicely screened in (can be completely closed if needed) and the outdoor bathroom was refreshing in the pleasant March weather (extra neat in the rain; don’t worry, the toilet and shower are under the roof). There’s also a futon-type couch in the outdoor area to relax on. The WiFi was adequate, but this room is really meant for relaxing, after all!
We heard about a resident snake here, we’re glad we weren’t surprised by that one, since we wouldn’t know whether or not that was a threat on first sight (especially at night). We hear it’s quite docile, though.
Be aware that the Dragonfly’s Rest should only be used by couples or single occupants, since the shower is in wide open view to the rest of the room.
A backpacker campground is on the other side of the property fence nearby, but you probably wouldn’t know it’s there unless you looked out a window—the campers were quiet the nights we stayed.
I liked that there was a small fridge in the room to keep our morning coffee drinks cold!
The room also had a little Sony Bluetooth speaker, it was nice to connect our phones to listen to some tunes while hanging out by the fountain.
The woman at reception was very pleasant and helpful by communicating directions to us, as we arrived late. Finding this room requires directions on the footpath, since it was cleverly hidden.
If we were to stay in Byron Bay again, we would book this room, for sure!
