Good location, comfortable clean rooms, i got a single bed not a bunk, big lockers, bed light and power outlet, en suite, excellent breakfast with fruits cereals bread etc, kind and helpful staff, lots of ideas and info on things to do and see. Its a bit old in places (showerhead, floor tiles and creeky stairs), but an overall comfortable and excellent stay. Thanks.

An ok stay, pretty central
The room was ok, there was a black out the last morning se erre there for about an hour but overall everything was ok. Breakfast is a bit poor, just sugar and nothing really as slow release energy food. Evening staff pretty helpful, the morning guy a bit lazy instead, more interested in his phone than check outs.

Ok but with serious shortcomin....
The staff here are the best asset of this hostel – most of the management staff are friendly, helpful and efficient, all speaking English well.
Security was also good here.
Our room and bathroom were large and clean overall although sheets had seen better days. There was no bathplug in the bathroom and the key to the door was fiddly – minor concerns.
Breakfast was ok with cereals, bread and various condiments supplied including the Argentinian caramel speciality. We supplemented it with our preferences from the local market. No proper coffee but a variety of juices and teas which was pleasing.
Facilities in the kitchen were very basic and not really adequate for what was advertised.
Our main complaint is the noise at this hostel. We note that several reviews have already commented on this. We are used to noise, but our experience here was truly awful resulting in lack of sleep for two consecutive nights due to the inconsiderate behaviour of what turned out to be other hostel guests. The noise began on our second sleepless night in the early evening from the bar below our floor, generated by a group drinking and playing billiards. Noise carried on outside the hostel throughout the night below our window which faced onto the street. Guys were shouting, drinking and laughing dropping their bottles from perches on other people’s car bonnets making a hell of a racket. At 2.00 am I went downstairs to complain to the manager. I was about to call the police. He explained that he could do nothing, they were guests of the hostel, he had rung ‘the Boss’ 5 minutes ago who merely said the guests would be leaving the following day. I said this was not good enough, etc. and asked for the phone to give ‘the Boss’ a piece of my mind. On top of all this, we experienced the garbage workers and their truck collecting refuse from the street shortly after 1 am (also the previous night), and two car alarms going off after 3am.
Management staff were apologetic in the morning; nothing from ‘the Boss’ whose contemptuous attitude is responsible for generating this review.
We do not recommend this hostel if you require a good night’s sleep. Should you consider it, get a room at the back of the hostel and on the top floor!

The perfect hostel
This is the perfect hostel for solo travellers. The daily dinner menu is the perfect excuse to get to the bar (if you don't like relying on alcohol to socialise). Was going for Xmas and stayed for New Years. Bariloche was one of the best experiences I've had travelling, and it also started with this hostel. 100% going back.

A nice pleasant stay.
Decent hostel, clean and comfy with bilingual reception. Decent breakfast for SA. Kitchen could have better facilities. Showers were hot and Wifi was ok at times. Good location only a 10 minute walk to the centre.
