Beautiful views and chill plac....
I was here on January 2016, with my two little daughters. The hotel has direct access to the lake Nahuel Huapi. Actually, there are few hotels in Bariloche with access to the lake. You can walk along the beach, 200 mts farther you can get into the river. The water is cold, but it's relaxing. Some hosts do surf with parachutes. Bariloche is about 12 km away. But that's great for me because Bariloche is overpopulated. Amerian has beatiful apartments, with great views. There are some grocery stores, and shops that sell prepared meals (like "Lo de Tone") in Dina Huapi. Eating in the apartment is the best choice for saving some money, because Bariloche is particularly expensive. Tha main disadvantage could be that you need to drive across all along Bariloche to visit several places and attractions. But in my case I prefer to waste 30 min driving, than stay in the downtown. In Amerian, there are no CableTV, no DirectTV, just a bunch of free, air HD channels to watch. Internet signal in my building (the leftmost one on the lake-front line, 3rd floor) was very erratic, sporadic. You can choice dry breakfast, or no breakfast. The last option could be better, because you can buy your raw materials for your breakfast at good prices. Overall, I've had a nice and peaceful experience in the hotel, having a drink in the balcony or the beach, the five days I stay there :)

Spacious and Comfortable
We moved to this resort for one night because of a delayed flight. It is a short drive from Bariloche and right on the shore of the lake with fabulous views. We had an oblique view of the lake from our unit. There is a paved walking path with exercise stations and benches just a short walk away. Our unit was large, with a nicely furnished living/dining area, spacious bedroom and closet, a nice bathroom, and a small deck. The kitchenette was furnished with basic supplies for cooking and eating. No dish soap or kitchen towels were provided. A continental breakfast is available as an option when you make your reservation; it will be delivered to your room at the time you request. It's a lovely, peaceful, quiet, gated property that still has some units under construction. We saw signs for a restaurant and activities area for children, but we didn't check them out.

Beautiful setting and views, e....
We spent 4 days in the Villa Huapi resort invited by some freids in Bariloche and really enjoyed it. Although it is a few miles off the town the setting and service were worth the extra short drive if we wanted to go to town. There are also very good restaurants near the resort in the Dina Huapi neighborhood. The views from our aptartment window were splendid, with Mount Tronador rising behind Lake Nahuel Huapi. We had the most beautiful sunsets there.
The service was great, and the staff very friendly and helpful.
It might get a bit windy on the lakefront, but Patagonia is not known for its warm weather in May. Pack a jacket and warm clothes to enjoy hikes in the mountains, great food, wine and beer in Bariloche. We loved the hotel and will be coming back during ski season to enjoy another week at Villa Huapi Resort.

Very restful location
We chose this place to be a little way out of the main part of Bariloche, as we had a hire car. It is very convenient for the airport,
The accommodation is excellent, large and well furnished. Standards of cleanliness were good. There are good views and it is peaceful. Only downside of the actual accommodation was that the shower screen was missing.
The reception/gate staff were very friendly and helpful. It appeared that this is a resort in development and some of the amenities will appear at a later date.
There is a pool but it was not in good condition at the time of our visit.
The main disappointment was the restaurant - breakfast was poor. It was optional and is really not worth the money, particularly as the apartments have a kitchen area and fridge. We had dinner in the restaurant the 1st evening and the food was good but the coffee machine, and credit card machine were not working and there were no desserts apart from ice cream and fruit salad.
