This place is okay to stay for 1 night, there is not much going for it. The day we arrived late in the evening, it had been raining heavily, so getting from the side car parking area to the front in heavy rain was a mission, specially as it is all gravel and pebbles, so cant even roll one's luggage. Basic room, I had soup, which I did not enjoy. The WiFi was extremely weak and only available in lobby. Basic breakfast.

The best Hotel in San Antonio
This is probably the best Hotel in San Antonio de los Cobres. Good food, conveniently located, good rooms. Keeping in mind that you aren't at all in Buenos Aires city center, you can't go wrong staying here.

Functional hotel for travelers
My husband and I stayed here for one night. The staff was friendly, and the hotel was clean. We had reserved a room with a double bed, but we were given a room with two twin beds. Since the hotel was small and it was for only one night, we didn't complain. There was wifi in the reception area, but it was very slow.
The hotel has a restaurant, and we had a good dinner after a day of traveling. I ordered the vegetable soup while my husband enjoyed the vegetable lasagna. The breakfast service was slow, and it was basic with coffee, juice, two pieces of toast, and a pastry. Unfortunately, I was left wanting for a bit more to eat before our hike that day, but we made it work.
There are limited lodging options in this region, and this hotel is a reasonable choice for one night.

Comfortable one night stay
I enjoyed my night in the hotel, very nice reception area which included wifi. Rooms were good with a comfortable bed. The location requires a little walk into town where the wind and dust swirl around the streets. Breakfast was good.

Tough night but no much choice....
It is still an acceptable hotel after so many hours of dirty road. Rooms are very basic, little bathroom and ok meal. We would really have appreciated some fire in the fire place as it was cold outside. This town has really nothing attractive, Just one night is enough.
Main concern was to sleep and breath correctly as the hotel is 3,800m above sea level!
I was the only one out of 8 in ur group not to sleep though. Wifi very slow and in the lobby only.
From San Antonio I really recommend to drive through the old Route 40 to the South (Cachi) but with a 4x4 car. Wonderful views and a peak at 4950m above sea level!
