Looked nice.....through the lo....
This was just bizarre. We turned up to the guesthouse at about 5PM. The gates were closed and locked, and the building was locked (i eventually jumped the gate to check), but the lights were on inside. We tried shouting and calling their phone but could hear it ringing in what i guess was an empty building.
We waited there for over an hour and asked the neighbours etc. but gave up when the light started to fail, and booked into another hostel.
To be honest we cant really work this out. I get that the owners may sometimes have to leave, but there were also no signs of anyone else staying there when it is rated at 4.5* and most other hostels in Puerto Iguazu were full. We had also booked on hotels.com so they had our card details as security that we would show up.
Maybe it has gone out of business, but just be weary before you book that you may be looking for a room elsewhere.

good location with nice views
This is a nice quaint small B&B. We had a lovely large room with king bed and a huge private balcony overlooking the river. It was a very tranquil location within walking distance to the town and the bus station. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was very nice but the room was in need of quite a bit of maintenance. The grounds were very nice with lots of flowers. The bed had a plastic covering on the mattress that made it uncomfortable when trying to sleep

A nice place with great staff
We were pleasantly surprised by this place. Very spacious rooms with comfortable beds, decent showers and OK wifi.
Nice spot away from the main centre but close enough to walk to the many ( overpriced and over crowded) restaurants in the centre!
The staff are really friendly and helpful and make te place what it is. When we had a problem with our shower they just upgraded us to a much bigger room with no fuss. Very helpful in arranging collection from the airport and transport to and from the falls at reasonable prices.
Would not hesitate to go back. Great value

Wake up to the birds, not the ....
Set in a nice (what looks to be expensive) urban area. The birds are everywhere and there is no traffic noise.
The shared bathroom for me worked fine and it reflected the price. However, the walls are a bit thin. Very clean and tidy.
Breakfast was plentiful with healthy options available. You'll get to eat outside for breakfast which is nice.
I'm travelling alone and I felt safe at all times. Someone was on site 24hrs.
10mins walk (if that) to town and if you eat at the La Toscana restaurant down the road and tell them you're staying at the Guest House you'll get a 10% discount off your meal!

Quiet, comfortable lodging in ....
This hotel is in the most lovely setting, overlooking the Iguazu River and surrounded by the beauty of the jungle. The room was spacious, the shower absolutely wonderful, and we had a terrace where we could sit at night and listen to the gentle sounds of nocturnal creatures. It is a bit off the beaten path, but near enough to the bus station and restaurants to walk, if you don't mind cobblestone and some rough pavement on the sidewalks. The staff was helpful and some speak English well. In short, we had a very nice stay here.
