Everything was going good till Christmas eve arrive, we asked in 22nd if was going to be a dinner at hotel restaurant on 24th receptionist told us it was going to be, we asked like 3 times to be sure they told us that will be a good dinner, when 24th arrive there were nothing! We got mad about it, they recommend us a restaurant suppose was going to be a discount but was nothing, we spend a lot of money in a dinner just because receptionist didn't tell us about dinner.

When we arrived the receptionist pulled our itinerary apart and tried to keep the original. I explained that we needed the itinerary to know our plans for the next couple of days. Another receptionist then photo copied 1 page and handed back to us which still did not give us the information we needed over the next couple of days.
There are rocky paths to the rooms which makes it very hard if you have suitcases. Our room was located at the very back of the complex.
The room was nice and bed very comfortable however housekeeping forgot to replace our towels and removed our old ones. Pool facilities very good apart from not having any pool chairs that you can lie down on, only seats and tables.
Breakfast was very average. The only hot food was watery eggs and sausages. Coffee very weak. The Buffet dinner was about $25 (Australian) and again very average and slow to be replenished. We tried to charge the bill to the room but was told they cannot do this. We then attempted to pay via credit card and was told we needed to show our passport which we did not think to bring to dinner.
Upon check out (after carrying our own suitcases about 700m along the rocks) we were told we had to walk all the way back to our room to bring the TV and air con remote to reception. This was never told to us at the time of check in and was a huge inconvenience as our room was located so far away.
One of the receptionists was very helpful (didn't catch her name) she assisted with the bus and taxi information.
Overall room and facilities good, however due to other short falls I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Quaint in a natural landscape
Atmosphere and surroundings are beautiful. Quaint cottages in scenic surroundings. Swimming pool. Bathroom water accumulates. Lock is tricky. Telephone and Visa card machine did not work. No drinks in frigobar

Cute little bungelows for rooms. Basic but very clean, no screens in windows housekeeping always left windows open, lots of bugs. Bugspray was available in minimart. I have a bad ankle so the uneven trail to the rooms really sucked. The entire staff was great, very helpful and friendly. Larger pool empty during our stay, overcrowing in smaller pool. Buffet was edible, but nothing special would have skipped if not included in package.

We arrived with a small group of 5 and stayed in a bungalow in the grounds. The room was basic with few frills except a fridge. No bath, but a shower. Door opened directly onto the outside where there were a couple of plastic chairs to sit on,
There was a swimming pool in the grounds but as we experienced heavy rain, we did not make use of this facility.
Due to a mix up with our tour, we were in danger of missing our trip to the waterfall. I needed to contact our tour guides in Buenos Aires, but the receptionist could not have cared less. I asked if she could telephone for me as I could not understand the phone codes. She waved her arm & told me to go to the mini market across the road. I insisted & offered to pay & she grudgingly agreed. She then continued her conversation in Spanish with her colleague. Every time I went into the reception are, she was indifferent at best & gave the impression of finding tourists a nuisance!
The en suite room itself was very basic with no extras and the bed was adequate. The towels were rather thin and threadbare. In the grounds, there was a very large restaurant where we enjoyed a good dinner. The next morning we had to queue up for breakfast with several coach loads of others until they opened the door. Then we had a buffet style breakfast. It pays to get there early as they ran out of some things & were a bit slow to replenish.
All in all I would not recommend this hotel as there were several others that seemed better value in the vicinity.
