2 day to see the Parque Nation....
The staff at the front desk were great, friendly and very helpful. Sadly it was very basic accommodation...not even towels provided. The landlady seemed very disinterested...the kitchen was extremely basic, breakfast at best tolerable. Wouldn’t come here again! Okay for youngsters, certainly not one for over 50!! WiFi good

Loved this place
Really quirky. Had a private double with ensuite. They couldn't have been more helpful. Really good place. Well worth considering. Located in the middle of town, it's spotlessly clean and you meet all manner of international travellers

It was pretty bla...
Not the greatest hostel, didn’t have a well stocked kitchen, and it was clear it was a business, not a nice warm/cosy family feeling hostel. But it is alright for a short stop over in calafate. They do have good warm showers though...

The hostel is really nice, clean and tidy, the rooms are big enough, but the heat when I was there was too much that I got sick, I got a bad flu. The stuff are friendly and helpful. The location is ok, not too far from town. I’ll be back for sure.
Breakfast was nice and healthy.

The Absolute Best Place to Sta....
Wow, hands down, this was one of the best experiences that I have ever shared at a hostel. The vibe here is inclusive, colorful, friendly and muy tranquilo. The staff are down-to-earth friendly, knowledgeable and can book whatever local tours you need provided you are able to at least furnish passport details for tour participants by 8:00pm for the next day. Don't book at the airport for a trip to the Glacier Perito Moreno, as you will pay more than necessary for a day trip. Let the property staff book it for you the night prior, and they will pick you up in the morning roughly at 8:00am and you'll be home by 6:00pm.
The main shopping district is merely a few blocks away, and if you don't feel like going far for eats there is the restaurant Napoleon just a matter of steps from the property.
This may sound silly, but I was also impressed with the sophistication of the music played by the staff in the main gathering area; having spent many hours using electrical outlets to charge equipment, I really enjoyed it.
I shared quarters with three other young women, where we enjoyed a quiet stay and roomy bathroom. (There's even a specific bathroom for those who are "shy" in regards to sharing space with others.)
Again, the vibe here is just stellar. In fact, I was recently on an Antarctic Expedition where I met a new friend who informed me that he had stayed here last year (prior to my anticipated visit) and really enjoyed it. Coincidentally, three of us who were on that expedition ended up here, at Bla! Guesthouse, by mere coincidence!
That right there ought to tell you how highly this location is recommended. Just get here and you can pretty much do the rest on foot without cabs, stress, hassles or worries.
