Just For Sleeping
I arrived really early on Sunday, November 12th and unfortunately I wasn't able to check in early but it was okay. I walked around the area but it was pretty dead. Seems like the city closes down on Sundays. I had breakfast in the hotel since there wasn't anywhere else to eat. The cost was 175 pesos which I thought was overpriced. The breakfast was just okay; lots of sweet stuff for breakfast that I didn't care for.
Once I was able to check in to the room I wasn't impressed. One section of the floor was replaced and it squeaked really loudly when walked on. The bathtub had a permanent stain and the headboard had tons of scratches on it.
The A/C was loud but it did keep the room cool. The view from the window was a lot of buildings. There was free Wifi and a computer in the restaurant for guests to use. The hotel is conveniently located to Florida Street just a few short blocks up the street.
This was part of a package deal so I'm not quite sure how much the rooms would go for but if you're looking for just a place to sleep, then this works perfectly.
One more thing: I was surprised that the hotel doesn't offer lunch or dinner on the weekends. Go figure.

Poor and ugly, nothing to do w....
Very small room, with a small window to nowhere. Old furniture. Shower is awful, you end up flooding the bathroom. Bathroom door is not a real door (glass with no sound insulation), people at the desk aren't particularly nice. My booking didn't include breakfast but it didn't look good. Way too expensive and low quality. Not recommendable.

Not what I expected
The location is good, but the room does not look like it did on the pictures of their website. This is not a 4 star hotel. Rather a 3 star. The staff could be a little bit friendlier as this was my first time in BA and my first encounter with an Argentinian was unpleasant.

If I could give no rate to this hotel, I would. Location is its best atribute and it isn't that good either. Room was very very small, not even in bigger cities in Europe and NYC I've found such a tiny room. Barely could fit a double bed. The bed itself is old, made lots of noises to sit or turn and it's very close to the ground, like some kind of cheap Japanese style. Bathroom was also small, the bath couldn't even fit small children and the shower temperature was impossible to control. You had two options: scalding hot or no water at all. Overall the housekeeper was ok, room was always clean. Sheets, towels, pillows and blankets were old and already over used... comfort isn't the word at this place. Breakfast was terrible... two options of juice I couldn't even swallow, coffee itself tasted weak and watery. No good pastries or breads, I didn't have the guts to touch the scrambled eggs. Do not recommend even for my worst enemy!

I arrive in Argentina without any of my luggage, hardly anyone here speaks the language, but the receptionist is not helpful at all. I asked if the receptionist could phone the airport asking about my luggage, but he refused and insist that I go back up into my room and call them.
The four stars is different in every country. They don't have irons, they don't have kettle or tea or coffee.
But all in all everyone is friendly, I just had a bad encounter with the receptionist.
Enjoy your stay in Argentina!
