Not great, not terrible...
Not good but not terrible.
Rooms are ok but have giant windows with no curtains so are very bright.
The air con points right in your face.
Wifi doesnt work in the upstairs rooms, you have to go downstairs and connect to the 'downstairs'wifi.
Breakfast is ok - coffee, bread and a piece of cake. They make you eat it in the kitchen though, rather than their lovely outdoor square.
Also they let people smoke on the kitchen balcony, which blows into the kitchen in your face, which isnt great if you hate smoke.
Bathrooms are just about passable - a bit dirty.
Price is about in line with BA prices but probably too expensive for what you get...

Stayed here for a few nights in January and again in March. It's good value for money. Breakfast is ok, fresh pastry every morning, cereal, coffee and juice. Wifi connection not very strong and the shared bathroom not very clean. However, the showers are powerful and always have hot water.
Tv in the lounge area and a quaint little courtyard with tables and chairs is a nice area to chill. Staff are friendly. Good locations, near to all attractions. Felt quite safe, reception had to buzz you in to gain access.

Basic and friendly!
This hostel is a little dated but very functional and quiet enough and clean. Very friendly and accommodating staff who are happy for you to use the facilities after checkout. Good value and the great staff are the reason for four stars but will need a facelift soon to get 5. Definitely would stay again!

We paid the same here per night for the two of us in a private room as we did in our previous hostel in BA for a dorm room. Breakfast was basic and lacking really - the best thing about it was the little pot of dulce de leche! Otherwise a piece of cake and two small stale(ish) bread things. I just cooked eggs for myself every morning.
The air con only came on at night in the room so in the day it was too hot and then halfway through the night we'd be shivering!
Most of the staff at this hostel are really friendly though. We liked it enough to stay there for about a week with the good price we found. We did notice we got quite a few bites there though.
A few recommendations for BA: get ice cream from Freddo (personal favourite was the vauquita sundae, mmm) and visit the Japanese gardens for a couple of hours.

The staff was friendly and super helpful, and our private room was average. The kitchen wasn't the cleanest I have seen, but you can't expect much for the price in such a fancy neighborhood. The location was excellent. Good vibe at the hostel.
