The worst day of my life
I went to Argentina with my wife,my priority was to buy a present for my mother, who is fighting for her life, I was so exicited ,I put some money aside for her, me and my wife went for breakfast on the last day before we went on the street ,the maid , the Brazilian girl went into my room without my consent and stole my money, I never recovered a penny,I spoke to the manager Luciano over the phone and instead of helping me he was very desrespecful to me, I had to call the police and spend all day with them trying to recover my money, it was a waste of time, no one seemed interested in helping. I wasn't able to buy anything for my mother, which breaks my heart. I will never stay in that hotel and I truly believe that karma will come back to those people, thanks Luciano and Talita for running my trip in such a way.

Nothing luxury about this esta....
The building looks great and thats about it. There is absolutely nothing luxurious over this place. Most staff is cold and distant, cleanliness is low (the showers were horrible), breakfast buffet is a sad excuse and the rooms (excuse me, suites) have no windows. Let me say that again: The ROOMS HAVE NO WINDOWS. And as far as I know riyadhs are not a BA thing. Avoid this place and have a better stay in BA.

Home from home
Well done Luciano and Adriano, you made our stay most comfortable and welcoming. Accommodation was tastefully decorated and had everything one needed. We stayed 4 nights and came back for 1 more night after visiting Uruguay. The location was perfect for our daily excursions. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Can certainly recommend. All the best, Giuseppe

We booked (and paid for) two "executive suites" on Wotif. Arrived at the property and were just shown into two inferior and less expensive rooms, without a word from the young girl on reception. I suppose she thought we wouldn't know any difference. It was only the next day we realised we were given the wrong rooms and when the manager was approached, he just said that the executive suites were all full. (why were they advertised then, I wonder) We also booked the option that included breakfast but apparently, the confirmation came through without breakfast included. Our room was dismal, dark, tiny, no windows (only one that opened to an indoor courtyard, the bathrooms stank of urine and were dirty, you couldn't fit a small child in the shower recess let alone an adult. At least there was an extra bathroom upstairs because the stairs would be very dangerous to negotiate at night but had to keep the door closed because of the smell. The loft bedroom section was only big enough to fit a bed in with no space around it. When I complained that we were given the wrong rooms, the manager did arrange for a refund of the difference from Wotif, but not a word from the sullen receptionist who showed us in to begin with. Also breakfast wasn't worth mentioning. And there's no lift, so if you have heavy bags, there are a lot of stairs!

Stay away from thieves
We stayed at San Telmo Luxury hotel, and was hugely disappointed. First of all, the first night we couldn’t sleep due to the loud banging noise from the water tank on the roof above our room.
The next day the maid stole $160 in cash from the safe in our room.
When we reported the missing money. The manager Luciano got rude and belligerent.
We spent our entire last day dealing with the hotel and going to police station to file a report.
They refused to tell the police who cleaned the room, they also refused to share the videotape with the police.
We will never stay at this hotel again!
