not a hotel
this is not a hotel, just rooms above a noisy wine bar/restaurant , no hotel services at all.the rooms are dark, there is no lift but above it is really dirty. We cleared out as soon as possible and in all fairness they did not question that we left early.

My partner and I stayed at Sagardi for almost two weeks. We had an amazing experience. First, management granted a complimentary stayed in the master suite for 3 nights. It was great to see the San Telmo fair from our balcony on Sundays. The restaurant is downstairs and they offered free breakfast and also room service until 10pm. We met the manager and his girlfriend as well as the rest of the staff members. They were really friendly and they were also very helpful when we ask for other bars/restaurants suggestions. Next time I go to BsAs, I'll definitely stay at Sagardi.

Sargardi Loft Hotel
Separate loft rather than hotel. Reception in bar next door. No room service. Friendly staff. Cold shower though. Seems the hot pipe was disconnected. Good location. Great plaza just down the road with tango dancing each night. Breakfast included coffee and croissants. The staff tried to help out with taxis and bag storage.

Unique and romantic Buenoos Ai....
If you're expecting Homewood Suites go elsewhere. This is better - A unique and romantic experience. The rooms are on the second level above the Sagardi Bar de Pintxos, a basque tapas (pintxos) bar/restaurant which is also excellent. There is no reception desk or lobby - you check in at the bar. The people are friendly and helpful. The rooms are big, clean, and nicely decorated. There is a super nice sitting area in the center patio around which the rooms are situated and a really cool rooftop pool with large sitting/lounging area that is super romantic at night and a perfect place for some wine and conversation (assuming the weather is good). Location is two blocks from Plaza San Telmo so you'll be almost in the middle of the world famous Feria San Telmo on Sundays - a big antiques flea market affair. In fact, they set up booths and tables on the street right in front of the location which we really enjoyed. This is not a luxurious neighborhood but there are many cool little restaurants and boutiques nearby so you'll get a "real" Buenos Aires experience.

Lovely apartments in a fab loc....
I stayed here for 4 nights with my boyfriend and we both found it a fab base for exploring Buenos Aires. It is only a short cab ride away from all the main tourist attractions, and walking distance from the main shopping district in BA as well as the port which has loads of restaurants. The immediate area has many coffee shops and a few restaurants, even a Starbucks on the corner. Breakfast was lovely, every morning they laid us a spread of pastries cheese and ham and gorgeous homemade apple jam with tea/coffee/juice. The rooms are lovely, with the bed set above the living area and a TV which had some English channels. The pool area was beautiful too. Our only reason for not giving it a 5 star rating is because the hotel does not have a 24 hour reception or clear signage (it took us about 30 mins to find walking up and down the street) We arrived at 5am (flew from UK) but were left on the street until Starbucks opened nearby at 7am. The staff arrived in the bar below the apartments at 8am and let us leave our bags there, however despite being the only guests staying in the hotel at the time we weren't able to check in until bang on 11. This was frustrating as we'd been awake for over 24 hours, were dying for a shower and bed, but instead had to wonder round and kill time until they allowed us into our rooms. Other than that we had a great stay and would defiantly recommend.
