Recommended Apartment Hotel in....
Like many small apartment hotels in Buenos Aires, the exterior of the building looks old and unimpressive, but upon walking through the dual glass front entry doors, there is a clean and modern, albeit quite spartan lobby. My late-night check-in was handled very efficiently. There is night bell button at the entry door for afterhours check-in. There is no bell desk or other hotel services, except for daily maid service. It appears the building has 12 units, 2 per floor. My apartment was spacious. The well equipped kitchen had a full size refrigerator, dual burner electrical range with oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and decent selection of cookware, as well as dishes and flatware for 4 persons. The kitchen bar stool style table could seat up to 5, although that would be tight. The living room area had a full size couch and coffee table with a small television. The bedroom is separated by a partial wall. The king size bed had dual nightstands and its own television. The split duct air-conditioning unit the bedroom was quiet and worked very well. The small balcony overlooks the street but has no furniture. The modern double pane windows blocked the street noise quite well. The worn blackout curtains were just barely adequate for keeping out most of the daylight, but upon making inquiry with the staff, I was advised they were scheduled for replacement. The bathroom is far from spacious, but an adequate size, with a full size tub, but almost no counter, shelf or storage space. The shower half door left water on the floor, but the water was always hot with lots of pressure. The plumbing fixtures were dated, but fully functional. There is a very small gym on site with only 3 pieces of very dated cardio equipment. It is just barely better than providing no gym at all. It should either be completely remodeled to be a truly functional gym or would probably be better utilized for a self-serve guest laundry. There are laundry machines in the basement, but they are only for staff use, as laundry service is provided for a fee. The daily maid service was exceptional, and the sheets and towels were for the most part, soft and above average quality. The free Wi-Fi had above average speed and supported both VOIP calls and streaming video. The location in Recoleta in central Buenos Aires is perfect for seeing the major city’s sites and there are virtually unlimited shopping and eating options within the immediate area. The staff was exceptional, and one did speak English. For independent travelers who prefer the freedom of an apartment and do not require the service and amenities of a hotel this is a highly recommended option and was extremely reasonable for a last minute deal at just under US$50/night.

Good enough if you are willing....
Pros: Affordable, clean, kitchen/shower/AC is good working condition; 5-minute walk to Callao subway; Supermarkets nearby
Cons: WiFi drops frequently and is very slow in the evening; sofa(bed) is shaped like a sofa, but is a back-wrecking, vinyl-covered sweat and dust sink
Neutral: At least there is a space that can be used as a fitness center; Staff is friendly but usually in the back office; location is close to city center offices and some landmarks, but a bit inconvenient for getting to cooler parts of BA; Passable restaurant options within 1-2 blocks

Clean, spacious, central
Clean, light rooms with plenty of space. Two TV's in the room, safe, micro wave, fridge. Everything you need. Breakfast brought to the room included in the price. Swimming pool on the roof and gym on third floor. We thought it was good value for mid range.

All Around Nice Place To Stay
Very Nice Staff!... Clean, modern and well equipped kitchenette, good storage if you plan to stay awhile, clean nice bathroom, good wifi availability in room, excellent laundry service available for a very reasonable price, safe, daily room cleaning service included, nice neighborhood with 3 cafe's offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, 2 pharmacies, 2 markets, hardware shop, office supplies, etc. Relatively quiet street that is one block off of the busy main shopping street. AC and heat worked well. Elevators always available. balcony in the front for fresh air. A few suggestions, floors are tile throughout the apartment, recommend footie slippers, or socks with slip proof bottoms or flip flops...they are slippery when wet. Take a few 3M removable hooks to hang things on...if you get cold they have nice blankets available if you ask.

Great location, good price
These are really small studios with a good kitchen. So when you just cannot face another steak and want some greens, we found it invaluable.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. The elevators work hreat. WIFI is superfast.
Very, very clean. Pretty quiet for downtown.
This is a great location with easy walks to Recoleta area which has dozens of all sorts of restaurants. It is also a pleasant and longish walk to Palermo. Great area but not actually in Recoleta.
It just felt like home.
