I met up with a group of friends who are all seasoned travellers and were scattered in various rooms and floors .I didnt hear a single one complain about their room .The rooms were spacious with gigantic double glazed windows.I chose a garden view room on floor 6 as I like quiet and wasnt disappointed apart from the odd door slam in the corridor.the view of the garden and apartment buildings was great and i sometimes pulled the net curtains across to really enjoy it. Its also possible to upgrade to a corner room ,as well as being enormous space wise ,they have the advantage of 2 doors between the corridor for quietness,my deluxe room was spacious enough though. The maid service did an impeccable job of cleaning the rooms each day and were also trustworthy.I accidently left some money out one day and it had been neatly left when I came back.I made use of the sauna and swimming pool down stairs and there was also a gym.reception staff were extremely helpful with answering questions ,there was nothing they wouldnt do to help and looked up information on the net if they didnt know the answer to something. It was great having a restaurant in the hotel open to 1 am in the morning and not closed early so food was always available when needed. The free maps at reception were excellent and there were many sights and places to visit within walking distance otherwise it was easy to get a taxi..The only thing I think could be improved was the buffet breakfast,it was definitely adequate ,but a bit mediocre eg there were only 2 types of jam and they probably could have done with a few more staff ,it was sometimes awkward catching the eye of a busy waiter to get a pot of coffee for insatance.Overall though I would say the hotel was excellent value for money.
