We stayed for only one night. The house is has 6 rooms with shared bathrooms and is very large. We had a room to the front and therefore to the street which meant that it was a little loud. Also the house has no aircondition (only ventilators). We didn't mind so for us it was all good. But if you are sensitive to noise from the street you should ask them for a room to the backyard and need your air con then this is not the place for you. They have a large backyard with a pool and the location of the B&B is very good (approx. 500 meters from Tigre train station). They also serve an amazing breakfast!

Know what to expect
There are only shared bathrooms in this place and it suffers from noise, from the street as well as from other guests some times. If you can live with this you get very friendly owners, a lovely building in an excellent location and a good breakfast.

Cosy B&B and heartwarming welc....
We went to Casona La Ruchi for a few days to arrange our wedding in Tigre. After a 24 hours longhaul flight and arrival in the middle of the night we were very heart warming welcome by Alejandra, the owner, and her family. With sandwiches in the room and an incredibly comfortable bed. The B&B or family hostel is an old villa that shows that Argentina used to have better times in the last century. Very cosy, breakfast together with other guests around a big table and friendly contact to the owners and dog of the house. We enjoyed very much our stay here and will certainly get back. However, don't expect a fancy bathroom like in a 3-star hotel. The place has other qualities such as a big garden with pool and barbecue that you could rent for a party, no noises from outside, we got a nice room with balcony and view into the garden, which invites to jump into the pool - even during winter time ;-)

Lovely stay with a lovely fami....
We arrived late on a rainy, cold Thursday evening due to a flight delay and the owners couldn't have been nicer about it. We decided to stay a second night (beyond our original reservation) and they graciously accommodated us, although we had to change rooms for the second night. You truly feel that you are guests in a magnificent old home. Yes, the decor is old, but that is the secret to its charm! As are the shared bathrooms--these are not a problem at all. Breakfast was fantastic and on the morning of our departure the family arose early to provide us a full breakfast before their regularly scheduled time. And the location is fantastic--two ferry lines are located directly across the street and the other tourist sights are very nearby. (One thing to check on--some of the mattresses were a little lumpy.)

A Different Point of View
Casona la Ruchi is more like a high end hostel than a B and B. After the glowing reviews, I was expecting something different. I can't figure out how people are giving it such high ratings. I will agree that it is in a great location, and the house has some charm. This place was recommended to me by the person with whom we booked our delta tour, and while the pictures did look nice on the website, I could never get the English version to load, so was not aware of the shared bathroom situation. This was a disaster - never once could we get in without a significant wait, and when we did get in, the other guests had used it as if it was their own space. There was laundry left hanging, toothbrushes parked on the limited space by the sink, wet towels left on the floor, hair in the sink, and bottom of the tub was gross. The whole bathroom was a horrible place.
Now, the noise. In addition to the incessant street noise, which fortunately we are not terribly bothered by, there is absolutely no sound proofing in the house. Our room was above the entry door, so we could hear people constantly coming and going. And the noise from other rooms and the stairway was very loud. We had a common balcony on the front of the house, and after walking about we were trying to have a little rest, and some women parked their chairs right in front of our door and had a very noisy reunion.
As others have mentioned, breakfast was very basic.
