Very nice place to stay in Bue....
This family run place felt like visiting relatives abroad. They are really nice people and helpful. Beautiful old house with big comfy patio. Easy access to city centre, metro and buses. Not the cleanest place where I've stayed, but not too bad either.

My home in Buenos Aires
I am absolutely SHOCKED by the negative review given here below - nothing could be further from the truth. I have spent more than 5 months (from February to June 2012) in this beautiful gem in Buenos Aires. Dear reader, be warned - this is going to be a long review, since I have left my heart in that house. I shared a twin room with a friend, with shared bathroom. You enter the house, and you feel at home. We were supposed to stay just enough time to find an apartment, and found that we just didn't want to leave. Not only is the house charming and warm, but the owners - Sergio and his parents - are simply beautiful people. Rather than a hostel, it feels like a host family who welcomes you right away as if you had always been part of it. Kindness, flexibility and always up for chatting, giving advice, caring about where you are going and where you really shouldn't go..Betty, the mother who has been as caring and lovely as if she had been my own grandma, was so patient when listening to my broken Spanish..we shared recipes and cooked together..Sergio would make it a point to introduce us to several Argentinian delicacies and we would argue over how to cook meat in the correct manner ;) ..so many memories...the kitchen has everything you need and the patio is full of flowers and plants. Yes, there is a cat (Moro, which I miss dearly) and a dog, Diana..and yes, many pigeons. Trust me, I am not a fan of dogs or pigeons, but they become part of the homely feeling. It is true though that the dog can be difficult...and sometimes the fridge is too small (but that might be because I am Italian and I do cook a lot)..but these really are the only negative things I can think of.
The area is great, too. There is a huge supermarket and many veggie shops as well as butchers close by. It is strategically set, very well connected to any area of the city and it is relatively safe at night (as safe as any other place in Buenos Aires). I have come home millions of times at very late hours and I never had a problem. I have met many people in the house, both staying for longer periods and those who were just passing by, with some I became friends. I usually don't leave reviews on websites, but after hearing about this negative opinion of this gem, I felt like I had to share my experience.
What else can I say about this place? I miss it. I miss my Argentinian family. And there is no doubt in my mind, that I would send my friends and my Italian family to this home away from home.

Nice and well-located
Very well-located (subway, supermarket, café, some milongas at 4 blocks) , clean and nice, people were friendly. The owner gave good advices and was very kind. I really liked my vacation. So i come back this summer at casa los angelitos.

Great atmosphere, great place ....
This is most certainly one of the best guesthouses I have ever been. The place is just lovely, with wide and bright rooms, a lot of plants and space and very good quality fornitures. The story about the dirt isn't absolutely true: a cleaning woman comes several times a week, so the place is definitely clean. The dog is a bit loud, but it is not really aggressive and gives a nice and fun atmosphere to the place. And the owners, they are absolutely special people: Sergio, Rudy and Betty are so warm and helpful, that it is impossible not to miss them once you leave.
The house is very well positioned as you can see from the map, everything you may need (supermarkets, drugstore, bank) is at walking distance (meaning, 2 minutes) and the price is fair.
Next time I'll go to Buenos Aires, I'll certainly come back :)

We had a wonderful time at thi....
My wife and I loved our stay at Casa Los Angelitos. We were there for 6 weeks and enjoyed the friendly family, the facilities and the interesting pets (cat, dog and turtle!). The patio had great variety of trees and plants, the kitchen facilities were well organized, our bed comfortable. In general the place was clean (they washed the floors and cleaned every day. The owner assisted us with travel arrangements, and money exchange among many other things. The location was perfect for us being close to Tango Milonga's and clay tennis courts across the street! Easy walk to downtown, san telmo, and congresso.
