“Compact but a great stay love....

If you get the right villa your stay will be pleasant, close to the beach excellent restaurant called the castaway, supermarket not so far maybe 10 mins walk and prices are soso not great but not crazy expensive and the takeaway counter had great food, cleaning crew is once a week which is just fine as you do not need people every day at your door or if you are just chilling in the villa when the weather is more than hot, also Villa staff great Roxanne and Romeo are great at their job and very open and welcoming. First night in a shoddy villa which they changed the following day but this villa 236F was poorly kept by the owner and was left with half opened bottles of alcohol and a very dirty oven which I would not ever use and a broken washing machine door and rotting wooden deck, which was reported and we were moved the following day.

Disappointing stay in Antigua

Not good value - stayed in unit 237C and theVilla was very poorly appointed with limited supplies and amenities. Poor quality furnishings and in sub standard repair. Reasonably good location and near to a major grocery.

Worst place ever

Never been in worse place. The only clean thing was the floor (at least in some areas). Kitchen so dirty to make you feel sick in one second. Both bathrooms dirty and with NO CLEAN towels! Even if we asked as they should have been included! No complimentary shower gel etc even if they should have been there! I had to ask three times for a hairdryer. We made people notice about the rooms and problems and nobody did anything. No wifi: it's there but it takes hours to connect and then it doesn't work! Bed linen: even on a safari in the middle of nowhere I had better linen. After 10 days we were happy to leave the 'villa' - fortunately we had good weather on that beautiful island so we didn't spend more than a few hours at night there. Final cost: 10 days 220 dollars per night completely wasted. Avoid those villas - or at least avoid 236F. Maybe the others are better - as they seem all different on the web. I will for sure contact the management to make a complaint.

318-A Golf House

We stayed at this location for about 24 days, property space was perfect, location was excellent as always we've stayed several different properties on Jolly Habour. We experience a few issues but Pascal and team fixed in timely fashion.But the issue with the cable provider was someting that didn't get resolved.....we had internet sometimes so we made the best of it we enjoyed each other company without electronic devices. We would most definitely stay at this property again.....Thank you HBK/ Luxury Locations for another enjoyable summer let's see what you have for us next year

Second stay in Jolly Harbour

In 2016 we spent 2 weeks in Jolly Harbour and liked it so much that we decided then and there to return in 2017 for 4 weeks, which we did. We had discovered last year that if you are in the North Finger a golf cart is pretty much necessary, as it is quite a hike to the main beach, and without one we were not getting in the swimming in that we had anticipated. This year (2017) we reserved a cart from HBK when we booked 336B once again. We had a lovely time for the 3 of our 4 weeks that we spent in North Finger, and were perhaps slightly spoiled by the excellent wifi that had been installed since our stay last year. We had to move to the South Finger for our final week, as the owner of 336 B required the property. We loved our new location (236D), which is a 5-minute walk to the beach. A small annoyance was that the wifi access was only reliable in a 1-square foot area of a window in the back bedroom. We will guard against that annoyance next year (yes, we have booked for another 4 weeks next year) by packing a wifi extender, a simple expedient that would probably make sense in a lot of situations. HBK Villas has been wonderful at addressing our needs both years: minor plumbing and electrical issues, water replenishment, and water pressure problems, among other things, were always dealt with within an hour of notification. It's worthwhile noting here that Antigua has a chronic water shortage problem, as their main water supply is from desalination plants, but HBK seeks to ensure that their clients experience the least disruption possible. We tend to be fairly self-sufficient regarding housekeeping, but we have been impressed by the frequency of visits from cleaning staff, who have to be discouraged from washing our dishes if there are dirty ones lying around. All in all, the villas managed by HBK appear to be held to a high standard by the management company and its staff.
