Great little hotel
Located on a side road parallel to and behind the main road, there is a sign directing you to the hotel which was great as we arrived by local bus and with the price of data in adorra had turned Google maps off! The staff at Xalet Besoli made us welcome from the moment we arrived, reception staff (the owners I think) spoke excellent English. We were there on a ski holiday with Inghams, the rep visits most afternoons at 5pm and there are hard copy resort guide in reception with lots of info. Room was quite big, decent size wardrobe and hangers. Ensuite bathroom with both bath and shower hose. Nice little balcony with a couple of chairs, 2 single beds pushed together which were comfortable. Heating on a timer so there were times when we might have wanted it on but over all the room was warm and our clothes dried overnight. Dated decor buy room was clean and tidy with everything you need. Towels changed every day, good Wi-Fi signal (best we've had abroad streaming and downloading were no problem).
Breakfast was a bit of a squeeze for us as didn't start until 8 and we needed to be at ski school by 9, but we arrived at 8 every morning and the friendly wait staff were there and buffet breakfast was ready to go. No hot food but plenty of choices of breads, meats, fruit, pastries etc.
We had half board so ate there every night. The food was a bit hit and miss, but plentiful so we found if 1 course wasn't to our liking we still didn't go hungry. We're not fussy eaters, enjoyed the local foods but found some of the pasta dishes v bland and the English translation was erratic so it was a bit of pot luck what we ended up with when ordering. However for €12 for a 3 course meal you can't complain, wine was good and v cheap.
There was also a little bar with seating area and tv.
Small hotel so got friendly with a few guests which was nice. No evening entertainment or anything (that we could see) but that wasn't something we wanted. There is a locked room outside but no boot racks, and due to the steep hill you have to go up to get to the gondola we opted to hire one at the top of the gondola.
There is a free local ski bus which takes you up the hill and we had the timetable yet still only caught it 1/6 days - others it just didnt show ip so sx2hedule doesnt seem accurate. Its a 15 min walk, hard work in ski boots and at altitude hence why we got the locker at the top. Great on the way home as you pass about 8 bars al with jappy hour, and several supermarkets.
Arinsal itself is very greater up to tourists, especially Brits. The ski school was excellent, and ski slopes were great. Overall I would recommend Arinsal for not expert skiers, and Xalet Besloi is a great budget option.

Excellent Family Ski Holiday
We booked this ski trip very last minute for a reasonable price, so were apprehensive as to what Xalet Besoli would have to offer but were pleasantly surprised when we checked in! We had a family room for 5 with a sitting room, kitchen and 2 bedrooms, so plenty of room for all 5 of us.
The hotel staff were so polite and helpful, the hotel was clean and the evening meals were of an excellent standard. This hotel has a lovely family feel to it and all the other families there were all of the same opinion, so the adults and children had someone to talk to on and off the slopes!
The walk to the Gondola (or centre of Arinsal and bars) in the morning is uphill and takes about 10-15 minutes, but if you store you ski gear at the slopes this is not a problem. I would not recommend keeping it at the hotel and walking with it in the morning.
The drinks in the bar of the hotel and very reasonable too - again we were pleasantly surprised with our bar bill at the end of the week.
All in all we had an excellent stay at the Xalet Besoli - we couldn't have asked for more - thank you!

Family ski trip
We stayed as a family of 5 on our first ski trip. This is a budget hotel that we booked through Crystal Ski and weren’t disappointed. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious. Breakfast was good continental and dinner a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 deserts. Wine and drinks very reasonably priced. It is a good 10 min uphill walk to the ski lift so I would recommend hiring lockers on top for ski gear but this is a very quiet area so you won’t be disturbed with the noise from the pubs. Staff in the hotel were excellent!!! Considering going back next year.
