Day 1 Arrival in Paro. Paro - Thimphu (1.2 Hrs)

Upon arrival, leave for Thimphu. The road from Paro to Thimphu has some amazing scenic views of mountains and river flowing along. Sit back and enjoy the drive through the mountains. Day 2 Thimphu Sightseeing

"After breakfast, proceed for sight-seeing. Simtokha Dzong: monastery was built in 1627 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. It houses the Institute for Language and Cultural Studies. The carvings behind the prayer wheel in the courtyard are a major attraction of this temple. Memorial Chorten: also known as the Thimphu Chorten, is a chorten in Thimphu, Bhutan, located on Doeboom Lam in the southern-central part of the city near the main roundabout and Indian military hospital. Buddha View Point: Another place from where you can get a good overview of the Thimphu valley is from the Buddha point (Kuensel Phodrang). You can pay your obeisance and offer prayers to the Buddha, the largest statue in the country and then walk around and take a glimpse of the valley."more...

Day 3 Thimphu - Punakha ( Day Excursion - 2.5 Hrs)

Day 5 Paro Sightseeing : Trek to Tiger's Nest

"Morning after breakfast, hike up the hill to visit famous Tiger?s nest temple: Taksang Monastery (Tiger's Nest Temple): The most famous of Bhutanese monasteries. It is said that Guru Rinpoche arrived here on the back of a tigress and meditated at this monastery hence it is called Tiger's Nest. Precariously perched on the edge of 1,200 meter cliff, this monastery creates an impressive sight, and is the unofficial symbol of Bhutan. It is about 2 hour up-hill hike or ride a horse from the parking lot to the monastery. If the full hike sounds a bit tough you can hike for 1 hour to the cafeteria, a wooden tea-house restaurant which offers a good view of the monastery. In the evening, return to your hotel."more...

Day 6 Paro Sightseeing

"After breakfast this morning check-out of the hotel and proceed to Paro. On reaching Paro, have lunch on your own in local restaurants in market and later proceed for sightseeing. National Museum of Paro: Housed inside the revamped Ta-dzong building in Paro, National Museum of Bhutan is a cultural museum that has put on display the antique items gathered from different parts of the country. Kyichu Lhakhang: Built in 659 by the Tibetan King Songtsen Gampo. It is believed to be one of the 108 temples built to subdue a demoness residing in the Himalayas and is also one of the oldest Temples in Bhutan.   • Price of the booking is calculated for per passenger on a twin-sharing basis.
  • Prices are dynamic and may be based on offers running at the time of booking. MMT reserves the right to change prices at any time.
  • Pricing of the booking is based on the age of the passengers. Please make sure you enter the correct age of passengers at the time of booking. Passengers furnishing incorrect age details may incur penalty at the time of travelling.
  • A surcharge may be applicable for certain departures.
  • In case the selected hotel is unavailable for booking, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in another hotel of a similar category.
  • Due to operational reasons, the routing of this tour may be amended. However, all mentioned services will remain unchanged.
  • Cost of deviation and cost of extension of the validity on your ticket is not included.
  • Porter fee at hotels, airports and seaports is not included in the package and has to be borne by the customer.
  • Cost of expenses of personal nature such as, laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bar etc., are not included.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation stage: 21 days or more before departure.
  • INR 10,000 will be charged as penalty on cancellation 21 days before departure.
  • *For bookings less than INR 20,000 per passenger, 25% of the booking cost will be payable at the time of cancellation.
  • Cancellation stage: 11 to 20 days before departure.
  • 50% of the booking cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation between 11 to 20 days before departure.
  • Cancellation stage: 10 days or less before departure.
  • 100% of the booking cost will be charged as penalty on cancellation 10 days before departure.
