Wake up to a complimentary breakfast and head further into the day, where you would visit The Tata Tea Museum. The museum is located in the Nallathanni Estate and tells the eventful story of Munnar; the real treat, however, would be the tea tasting unit where one can savour a variety of flavours. On Monday as the museum is closed, you will be taken to a Tea Plantation instead. Munnar is always synonymous to tea plantation so a trip to Munnar will be incomplete without having a visit here.
Then, you would proceed to Eravikulam National Park. It is an ideal place for watching the biodiversity of high elevation shola-grassland ecosystem. The duration of the sightseeing tour would be 2 hours. Here, one can observe the Nilgiri Tahr at close quarters. The park may be closed for visitors the early months of the year because it is calving time of the Tahr.
Then, you can proceed for a lunch (own expense) at a restaurant for a taste of the local delights cooked in fresh spices that this region is famous for. Later in the afternoon, visit Mattupetty Lake and Dam and marvel at the natural surroundings of the dam. The reflection of green tea garden in the still of water of the dam is a sight to behold.

Only about 45 minutes from Thimphu, it offers visitors their first glimpse of the Himalayan range. The road to Punakha branches left and curls its way down to the relatively low lands of the Punakha valley. As you are just about to reach Punakha visit :-
Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple): Situated on a hillock in the centre of the valley is the yellow-roofed Chimi Lhakhang, built in 1499 by the cousin of Lama Drukpa Kunley in his honour after he subdued the demoness of the nearby Dochu La with his ‘magic thunderbolt of wisdom’. A wooden effigy of the lama’s thunderbolt is preserved in the lhakhang, and childless women go to the temple to receive a blessing or empowerment from the saint. It’s a pleasant 20-minute walk across fields from the road at Sopsokha to the temple. It crosses an archery ground before making a short climb to the temple.Punakha Dzong: Majestically standing on an island between the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers, the city's dzong is one of the most photogenic of all Bhutan's ancient fortresses, and you will see pictures of it hanging in hotels and restaurants throughout the country. The dzong is joined to the mainland by an arched wooden bridge, and contains many precious relics from the days when successive kings reined the kingdom from this valley.
