Section 2: Booking & Commission Details
The system is designed in such a simple way so that even a partner who has little travel background can use it. The booking flow and other feature tutorials are already available in the partners' login area of the portal. In case you require it, one of our sales relationship managers can get in touch with you to provide you more details. You can also contact our call centre team on 1860 500 8747 / 0124 4628720 to log your request. We will also send you regular mailers to update you about new features.
No, there are no service charges/taxes on the fare given on the site i.e., the fare displayed on site is all inclusive of everything, and we do not charge anything above that. However, we charge Rs. 100 for cancellation of the ticket, apart from the cancellation amount charged by airline/hotel.
There is service fee of Rs.250/- for any post sale operation with MakeMyTrip, but partners enjoy a reduced service fee of Rs. 100/-.
The airline industry is very dynamic in nature and we constantly revise our commission structure based on the latest deals offered by the airline. This is communicated through mailers to our partners, and can always be found on the home page of the B2B portal. Currently, we are offering 10% on non-recommended and 15% on recommended hotels to our partners. We are also planning to have super-recommended hotels on offer, where we can offer about 20-25% commission to our partners.
MakeMyTrip follows a ‘cut and pay model' for transactions. Using this method, we will deduct only the cost (of the ticket/hotel) from the agent's account, and the commission will remain with agent. Agents can also check the same through transaction reports, which make it even easier to keep a transparent track of the commissions per transaction.
You can see the commission during the transaction with ‘Show/Hide Details' option on the same window. You can also see complete commission summary with the help of the transaction reports. It is also visible on the communication dashboard on the home page.
We provide all reports online on the B2B portal, and you can view/print any report at anytime, as per your requirement. We also provide all transactions & cancellations records, as well as account (deposit/credit cards) statements online.
We have mark-up management facility in our B2B tool and you can increase the airline fare by a maximum of Rs. 500/-.
This service is only available offline at the moment, but soon we will have flight cancellation option live on the portal. We process refunds on the same date as the cancellation.
The refund is processed immediately after the confirmation of the cancellation, and it goes to the account from which you have made the booking i.e., the deposit account in case you made the booking through the deposit account, and credit card if you made the booking through the credit card.

MakeMyTrip offers sales incentive schemes, which are communicated through our marketing mailer and by our MakeMyTrip representative directly. The sales incentive schemes are based on transactions and net business done with us.
Yes, we have given this facility under ‘Branch/User Management' in the ‘Account Management' option on the B2B portal. All transactions will come under the master user name, and the master can see all the transactions, but the sub-user will only be able to see those transactions which are done by him.
Yes, you can use our ‘User Management' feature on our B2B platform for this, and create separate login IDs for each of them. They will use the amount from your account itself, and you can also see the reports for the same.
Yes, if you are booking any international tickets with us you will also get complete visa assistance from our team to facilitate your customer.
Section 3: Accounts & Finance
Agents can use two modes of transactions with MakeMyTrip.com:- 1) Advance Deposit (Rolling Deposit) Amount, or 2) Pre-registered Credit Card. We will soon extend our facilities to also include debit cards and net banking as modes of payment.
Currently, MakeMyTrip.com works with ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank. We also intend to have a contract with SBI/Axis Bank to provide the same services.
You have to deposit the amount in either one of our mentioned bank accounts, and then intimate us via the deposit slip option on our site. It takes about 30 minutes to upload the amount to your account from the time we receive a confirmation from our bank.
No, we do not have this feature at the moment, but will be introducing it in the near future.
No, we are a simple flight/hotel booking business and simply share best deals with our partners.
MakeMyTrip does not provide any credit because we work on an advance deposit model so that we can provide best deal to our partners. To honour our partners' request for credit, we have a facility for using credit cards on our platform. Soon, our partners will also be able to use their debit cards & net banking to make transactions with us.
Yes, you use a credit card as a mode of payment, though you will have to register that card with us by filling a simple Letter of Approval (LOA) for our reference. The transaction charge depends on the type of credit card you use. It is currently 1.6% for most credit cards.
Currently, we deduct TDS every month and then issue the certificate at the end of the financial year. However, we will soon start deducting TDS with each transaction, and issue the final TDS certificate at the end of the financial year.
Section 4: Support Service/Call Centre Support
If you are not able to book some tickets online, you can book the same tickets offline. You just have to send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and you will get the options on your registered e-mail ID. You can then send us your selected option via a confirmation e-mail. We will then book the tickets on your behalf, and then send those to you.
Yes, we have a special feature (‘E-mail Fare' option) where you can send all possible options to your customer in one go, and he can confirm any of the options. This will save a lot of coordination and communication time with the customer.
You can send us any query on the respective (flight/hotel) email IDs, and if there is no response/late response, you can write to us on email@example.com, and we will revert on the same.
All agents will get a certificate from MakeMyTrip at the time of joining and we will also give our signboard as an incentive once you achieve certain number of transactions with us. You will also be provided brochures as per requirement to sell any particular package.
All deals will be displayed on the home page of B2B portal, and we will send a separate mailer for any new deals as well.

No, MakeMyTrip will not contact your customer for any kind of promotion.

Section 5: Other Services/Information
You will have to send us written intimation for this purpose with a one month notice period. We will refund your deposited amount within the same timeline.
We work on the newest and most renowned GDS in the market, Amadeus.
No, we do not have this functionality at the moment, but soon we will introduce a similar feature, where you can just put your Amadeus PNR on our site, and retrieve the ticket from our website. As of now, you can send the details to our helpdesk and they will send you the tickets.
No, at the moment, we only offer the international booking feature on our B2B portal. However, we will soon introduce a ticket holding feature.
You just have to write a mail to our helpdesk team (firstname.lastname@example.org) with the original PNR, and they will do the needful and send you the new ticket.
Yes, MakeMyTrip does offer foreign exchange facility to its partners.
