Other famous spots include The Alcove and Primose in Vagator, On the Rocks on Dona Paula, Shores Bar and Paradiso in Anjuna, 9 Bar near Ozerim Beach, Bar Negro in Verna, Raylo’s Taverna in Calangute, as well as Dylan’s Bar and Found Things at Palolem Beach. Most luxury hotels also have excellent venues, the most famous being Red in Kennilworth Beach Resort, Aqua in the Leela, and Ozone in the Goa Mariott Resort. Music varies from retro to trance to psychedelic to rock to underground to dance. Don’t forget to try the various local brewed beers and the famous Goa Feni - a drink made from cashew or palm.
