Madh Island Beach: Madh Island is a small peninsula that is cut of by the Malad Creek, with mangroves to the east, and the Arabian Sea to the west. The beach and secluded lush vegetation have been reasons for its popularity, as well as an old fort and church.
Manori Beach: Manori Beach is located about 40 km from Mumbai. The unique culture of the fishing village of Manori and the proximity of such amusement parks such as Esselworld and Water Kingdom are responsible for its popularity.
Marvé Beach: Ferries depart from this narrow beach located in the western suburb of Malad in Mumbai, connecting the Essel World, Madh Island, and Manori. There is also an of Indian Naval base here, the INS Hamla, further restricting movement.
Versova Beach: Versova Beach is a rocky beach located at Versova Village (Vaswe) in Andheri, which has a large population of Mumbai's fishing community, the Kolis. It is especially famous for its colourful festivals. During high tide, the entire beach goes under water, and hence there is nothing permanent on the beachfront. Swimming is dangerous here
