African cuisine is influenced by its location, trade, colonisation or adaptation of imported food like pepper, peanuts and corn. Different regions have their own speciality - Berbere and Doro Wat from Ethiopia, Coconut bean soup from Tanzania, Jollof rice from West Africa and Ndizi (steamed bananas) from East Africa are exotic with a unique flavour. Some other African dishes that have created waves include: Beef Stew, Beef with peppers, Babotee, Ethiopian Pancakes, Chicken Yassa, Madagascar Chicken, Rwandan Chicken and Anise Bread.
