Main Languages: Spanish (Castilian) is the official language of Argentina, and widely spoken and understood. Along with some indigenous languages, English, German, French and Brazilian Portuguese are also spoken in Argentina.

When to Go: Argentina has a temperate climate that varies from subtropical in the northern part to sub-polar in the far southern part of the country. The climate in northern Argentina is characterized by very hot and humid summer season with mild drier winter season. Central Argentina boasts of hot and humid summers with thunderstorms, and cool winters, while southern Argentina has warm summers and chilling winters characterized with heavy snowfall, especially in mountain regions. The summer months of December to March is considered the best time to visit southern Argentina, while the summer months can be unpleasant in Buenos Aires. The winter season from July to October is ideal to visit the cities in northern and north-west Argentina. July to August is also the best time to enjoy skiing in snow-covered mountains of Argentina. So, you need to plan a trip to any particular destination as per the local weather conditions to avoid any unpleasant circumstance.
