Do go to the Eravikulam National Park to spot some beautiful flora and fauna, including the Tahr, an endangered species of mountain goats, as well as langur monkeys and sambars. A jeep tour will take you to the Thattekkad Bird sanctuary full of scintillating birds and their calls, and give you a chance to go atop Mount Anamudi itself. Needless to say that the views are awe inspiring.
