It is a favourite for folks who want to live in gay abandon, not restricted by the rules of a regular society. This quiet, comfortable village is not flooded by the usual hordes of tourists. The coast nearby cannot be called a regular palm fringed exotic one but it has a beauty of its own. One can go for some pleasant walks around and there's plenty of bodysurfing to do. A hot spring near the main beach feeds into a freshwater lake, producing silt that tourists are fond of smearing on their bodies to revitalize the skin.
