Air: Nearest air port is Pantnagar (80 km) but it is rarely used and flights schedules are not very reliable.
Rail: Nearest railhead is Ramnagar, connected to major destinations such as Delhi (250 km) and Haridwar, although there is only one train from Delhi and it stops at innumerable stops on the way. A more convenient option would be to take a train to Muradabad, and change for Ramnagar. Or you could take the daily overnight Ranikhet Express that connects Delhi with Kathgodam and then take a taxi or a bus to reach Ramnagar, about an hour and half away.
Road: There are daily buses from Delhi, Haridwar and Nainital to Ramnagar. If driving from Delhi, keep in mind that the drive takes 6 - 8 hours. The route is via Noida, Hapur, Muradabad, Kashipur and on to Ramnagar. (Take the NH 24 to Muradabad via Hapur and Simbhaoli. Once you cross Moradabad, take a left turn onto NH 74 to Ramnagar via Thakurdwara and Kashipur.)
