Jim Corbett was a prolific writer who described his hunting expeditions in books such as the Man-Eaters of Kumaon, the Man-Eating Leopard of Rudraprayag, the Temple Tiger and More Man-Eaters of Kumaon. While Jungle Lore is considered his autobiography, he also wrote My India, describing Indian rural life.
