Local Transport
The common modes of transport are auto rickshaws that run by metre so you do not have to worry about haggling. The rickshaw drivers are friendly and most will go out of their way to help you out if you are new to the city. Buses ply in the city too - convenient for covering long distances within the city. However, they can be confusing as the bus numbers and destination names are written in Gujarati.
