9. How do I move up to a higher membership tier in My Trip Rewards? To move up to the next membership tier you need to earn required number of Rewards Points during the tier validity period.

  • You become a Silver Member on registration or after 1st booking.
  • On accumulating 2000 reward points in a year, you rise from Silver to Gold Tier. You need to earn 2000 reward points thereafter in a year to retain your Gold membership.
  • On accumulating 4000 reward points in a year, you rise from Gold to Platinum Tier. Thereafter you need to earn 4000 reward points in a year to retain your Platinum membership.

10. How do I keep my Gold or Platinum membership status in My Trip Rewards? Once you become a Gold or Platinum member, you have a 12-month time-frame in which you need to earn required number of Reward Points to retain your membership status.

  • Gold members need to earn 2000 reward points in a year to retain their Gold membership.
  • Platinum members need to earn 4000 reward points in a year to retain their Platinum membership.

  If you have not managed to earn the required number of reward points, you will move back to the previous tier.

11. How do I cancel my membership with My Trip Rewards? Please use customer service to let our agent know that you would like to cancel the membership. You will be then provided with a service request number. Store this service request number till the cancellation procedure is over. You can also submit the service request online, through your loyalty account.

Terms and conditions

Definitions

In these terms and conditions, terms used are defined below unless the context specifies otherwise:

  • Full amount: Listed price without any add-ons (Insurance, Visa fee, Calling cards, Convenience Fee)
  • "MakeMyTrip" means MakeMyTrip (India) Private Limited
  • "Material Changes" refer to (but not limited to)
            Change in the registered contact number (mobile or/and landline)
            Change in the registered address
  • "Member" means customer registered in 'My Trip Rewards'.
  • "Membership" means membership of 'My Trip Rewards' program.
  • "Membership Tier" refers to the tier level in My Trip Rewards designated to a Member based on applicable qualification criteria
  • "My Trip Rewards" means the loyalty program of MakeMyTrip, in coalition with PAYBACK (or LSRPL), offering benefits, facilities or arrangements as may be applicable to My Trip Rewards Members on account of and in terms of their membership with My Trip Rewards Program.
  • "Reward Points" means the PAYBACK points issued by MakeMyTrip.
  • "Bonus Points" means the additional PAYBACK points issued by MakeMyTrip.
  • "My Trip Rewards Card" or "Membership Card" means the membership card for My Trip Rewards issued by MakeMyTrip to a Member, wherever applicable
  • My Trip Rewards Membership account means the account in which a member can check details of his tier & points, personal details, booking history as well as personalized offers. He would also have option to earn and redeem points.
  • “B2C” means only those customers who made bookings for themselves or for friends and family. Travel agents or travel coordinators or corporate help desk will not be considered under the category of B2C customers.
  • "Tier Validity" means the number of months for which the tier is valid from the month of registration or from the month of upgrade.

General Conditions

  • My Trip rewards program structure, benefits and terms and conditions in this format are valid from 21st Jan 2014 onwards.
  • Membership in to My Trip Rewards Program is voluntary.
  • The members should be above the age of 18 and eligible as per the rules laid down by business. These rules are subject to change.
  • The membership in its current format is applicable for transaction at www.makemytrip.com, India site only.
  • My Trip Rewards membership has lifetime validity unless terminated in terms thereof.
  • My Trip Rewards membership and Reward Points are non-transferable except as specified in these terms and conditions.
  • My Trip Rewards at all times remains the property of MakeMyTrip, which reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion and without giving notice to such member to withdraw the membership and benefits arising from it.
  • My Trip Rewards program and terms thereof may be modified at the sole discretion of MakeMyTrip without prior intimation to the member.
  • MakeMyTrip shall not be liable in the event it fails to fulfill any of its obligations under this agreement due to flood, earthquake, storm, cyclone or any other acts of god of similar nature, war strike, lockout, or governmental or judicial or quasi-judicial policies/intervention/direction /prohibition or change in law or for any other reasons beyond its control.
  • A waiver of any of the terms and conditions by MakeMyTrip shall not be deemed to be a continuing waiver, but shall apply solely to the instances to which the waiver is directed.
  • All claims and disputes arising under the terms and conditions should be notified to MakeMyTrip within 45 days post travel end date after which no member shall have any claim against MakeMyTrip.
  • MakeMyTrip reserves the right to change, at any time, these terms and conditions, features and benefits offered on My Trip Rewards.
  • MakeMyTrip shall have the right to transfer, assign and sell in any manner, in whole or in part, My Trip Rewards to any third party of its choice without reference or intimation to the members.
  • MakeMyTrip shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from termination or change of the My Trip Rewards Program or any of its facilities, benefits or arrangements which are made available to the My Trip Rewards Members. The My Trip Rewards Program may be modified at the sole discretion of MakeMyTrip from time to time without any intimation to the My Trip Rewards Member.
  • My Trip Rewards Member grants his/her consents to MakeMyTrip creating, storing, maintaining and updating the My Trip Rewards Member's data. Such data shall include membership data (like name, address, telephone number, mobile number, date of birth, areas of interest, preferences etc. as provided by the My Trip Rewards Member), usage data (including without limitation, transactions and Reward Points accrued, etc.), and data concerning contacts with MakeMyTrip (including without limitation, enquiry regarding membership) for the purpose of providing relevant information, personalized offers and customer services to the My Trip Rewards Member in connection with the Program.
  • All data relating to the My Trip Rewards Members shall be protected and used by MakeMyTrip only in the manner indicated in MakeMyTrip's Privacy Policy mentioned at the www.makemytrip.com .
  • The Member solicits and authorizes MakeMyTrip to contact him by voice call, sms and/ or email for the purpose of this My Trip Rewards programme. The Member hereby unconditionally consents that such contact by MakeMyTrip is (a) upon the request and authorization of the Member, (b) 'transactional' and not an 'unsolicited commercial communication' as per the guidelines of Telecom Regulation Authority of India (TRAI) and (c) in compliance with the relevant guidelines of TRAI or such other authority in India and abroad. The Member will indemnify MakeMyTrip against all types of losses and damages incurred by MakeMyTrip due to any action taken by TRAI, Access Providers (as per TRAI regulations) or any other authority due to any erroneous compliant raised by the Member on MMT with respect to the intimations mentioned above or due to a wrong number or email id being provided by the Member for any reason whatsoever.
  • PAYBACK Partners may change any of the terms and conditions of their business at any time without notice to the My Trip Rewards Member. MakeMyTrip is not responsible for informing My Trip Rewards Members of any such changes.
  • MakeMyTrip and PAYBACK partners shall not be liable to any My Trip Rewards Member or his/her nominee or companion, for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expense of any kind whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with MakeMyTrip, including the functioning of the helpline and/or provision or the refusal to provide any benefits, whether such loss, damage or expense is caused by the negligence or otherwise, and whether MakeMyTrip and/or any of PAYBACK Partners have any control over the circumstances giving rise to the claim or not.
  • In case of bookings where payment is done through combination of Cash + Rewards Points, cancellation penalty will be deducted on priority basis first from Cash and then from Rewards Points.
  • All benefits and special privileges offered under My Trip Rewards membership are restricted only to B2C customers. Any claim made by customer other than B2C will not be considered valid. Travel agents or travel coordinators or corporate help desk are not eligible for any benefits (earning of points, benefits, special privileges, bonus points, gift vouchers etc.) of My Trip Rewards.
  • The 'MakeMyTrip Cancellation Service Fee Waiver Benefit' is valid only for domestic air tickets that are booked online at MakeMyTrip India website www.makemytrip.com, using registered Platinum or Gold email address. The membership status of the customer should be ‘PLATINUM’ or ‘GOLD’ at the time the booking is cancelled and at the time the booking was made. Only the service fee charged by MakeMyTrip shall be waived off and up to the maximum of Rs. 250 per booking. This waiver amount will be refunded as CASHBACK within 7 working days from the date of cancellation. If the Cardholder doesn't receive waiver amount, he/she can claim for the same within 2 month from the date of cancellation of the booking. In the event the Customer fails to do so, he/she will not be eligible for the waiver amount. MakeMyTrip reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether. Note: This is an introductory offer for Gold Tier.

Enrolment

  • It is the customers responsibility to share the correct communication details with MakeMyTrip at the time of enrolling into the program or signing up for his account in MakeMyTrip.
  • Members are required to inform all material changes to MakeMyTrip immediately.
  • MakeMyTrip reserves the right to offer My Trip Rewards membership to any customer as it may deem fit.
  • Membership to My Trip Rewards is at the sole discretion of MakeMyTrip and it may refuse membership to any applicant without assigning any reasons.

Account activation

  • Account activation is a one-time activity. MakeMyTrip will credit points to all members linked PAYBACK card number only if member's account is active.
  • Members can activate account anytime by logging into MakeMyTrip using their registered email id.
  • All members will be given 90 days window starting from booking date to activate account, post which rewards points earned against booking will expire.
  • Account activation process is applicable to all bookings created on or after 13th August 2014.

Reward Points Accrual

  • The member agrees that by quoting his/her membership detail to MakeMyTrip, he/she has read and understood the prevailing terms and conditions of My Trip Rewards and PAYBACK. Member also confirms that he/she is bound by such terms and conditions and voluntarily agrees to pay all specified charges.
  • Members can accrue Reward Points through a transaction with MakeMyTrip for the purchase of selected products and/or services paid by any mode of payment agreed upon by the MakeMyTrip.
  • All Reward Points on the My Trip Rewards Member’s transactions shall be credited to the Member Account within 3 working days after travel end date or checkout, wherever applicable.
  • Customer will not be entitled to earn any reward points where the payment is made by COD or EMI mode.
  • The method of earning Reward Points from MakeMyTrip is subject to change from time to time.
  • Reward Points are granted in whole number. Customers will not be awarded Reward Points in fractions. Reward Points will get rounded off to the nearest whole number.
  • Reward Points are valid for a period of three years from the date of credit into the My Trip Rewards Member’s account.
  • In the event of the member not using his/her My Trip Rewards membership to accumulate and/ or redeem Reward Points for a continuous period of 24 months (2 years), the accumulated Reward Points and the My Trip Rewards membership account will expire. All points accumulated on such accounts and lying unused at the time of expiry shall lapse.
  • Reward Points from the member’s account cannot be pooled or combined with the Reward Points of another member’s account.
  • Complaints on Reward Points not credited to account will be entertained only if the date of travel is not older than 45 working days. The My Trip Rewards member must provide proof of transaction as required by MakeMyTrip to register any Reward Points dispute.
  • Only one type of benefit can be availed in a single transaction, either travel agent benefits, corporate benefits or loyalty program benefit
  • In case of flights cancellation directly with airline, the credited reward points will be deducted by MakeMyTrip from customer’s account. In case the customer utilized the credited reward points (in partial or full), equivalent amount will be deducted from the refund amount.
  • Reward Points can be earned on purchase of following travel products from MakeMyTrip:
        > From online India website of MakeMyTrip, www.makemytrip.com from 21st Jan 2014 onwards
                - Domestic Air Tickets (Within India)
                - International Air Tickets
                - Online Hotels in India
                - Online Domestic packages

  • Please note, reward points are not earned on:

                - Rail Tickets
                - Car
       > Any bookings done on website other than India website, like MakeMyTrip US website, Canada website, UAE website etc.
       > Call centers serving outside India Business.
       > Bookings done under MakeMyTrip Employee referral program.
       > On Bookings done on through MakeMyTrip corporate channels like affiliate, B2B, Mice etc.
       > Bookings done by travel agents. In case it is found that a travel agent has accrued points by not disclosing his status as travel agent My Trip Rewards membership will be revoked
  • Travel agent, who is a PAYBACK member, is barred from earning in MakeMyTrip, however he/she is eligible for redemption of points in MakeMyTrip, earned elsewhere in PAYBACK network.
  • The member should be above the age of 18 and eligible as per the rules laid down by business for redemption process. These rules are subject to change.

Tier upgrade

  • Only points earned in MakeMyTrip from 21st Jan ’14 onwards will be considered for tier upgrade
  • Only points earned on MakeMyTrip products and Bonus points earned on completing 6RN/10RN/3 holiday packages will be considered for tier upgrade
  • Promotional points earned through special promotions run by MakeMyTrip or PAYBACK will not be considered for tier upgrade
  • MakeMyTrip will check tier retention criteria only at the end of tier validity time period. For example customer upgraded to Platinum tier on 1st Feb 2014, MakeMyTrip will check whether customer has retained tier or not only on 31st January 2015

         > Following products as of now
                 -Rail Tickets
                 -Car
         > Any bookings done on website other than India website, like MakeMyTrip US website, Canada website, UAE website etc.

  • Reward points can also be redeemed in PAYBACK partner network
  • In the event of a dispute between MakeMyTrip and member on the redeemed item, the decision of MakeMyTrip shall be deemed as final and binding
  • My Trip Rewards Members may not rely upon the continued availability of any rewards or award level
  • MakeMyTrip does not accept liability for damage to persons or property whatsoever caused in relation to rewards redeemed by My Trip Rewards Members in the Program
  • To activate redemption, customer must update his/her Date of Birth in his/her account under profile section

Free room night/Free holiday packages/Free hotel stays

  • Customer needs to make reservations at least 15 days prior to check-in date
  • The offer is valid for two adults only
  • Booking on travel dates requested will be made subject to availability
  • The offer is non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash.
  • Accommodation in a Standard category room
  • Meals and services, unless specified in the voucher, are not included
  • In case of non-availability of rooms on the dates specified by the customer, the customer would be informed and requested to amend the dates, however, if the customer wishes to travel on those dates itself, then MMT will charge upgradation fee (difference of price between available room category and room category envisaged in the package) for the higher category rooms available for the specific hotel/resort.
  • In case of cancellation of the booking, no refund will be applicable and the offer will be revoked.
  • The standard check-in & check out time at hotels is applicable.
  • The booking cannot be rescheduled.
  • In case there is any additional passenger, prevailing charges shall apply as quoted by the agent.
  • Additional services if purchased by the customer will have to be paid by the customer.
  • Customer acknowledges that as this offer is complementary, no service deficiency claims or compensation claims shall be maintainable against MakeMyTrip.
  • This offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer of MakeMyTrip.
  • MakeMyTrip, in no event, shall be liable for any incidental, consequential and financial losses in any event whatsoever.
  • Any dispute arising out of or in connection with or as a result of this offer will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi only.
  • MakeMyTrip shall not be liable for any service deficiency claims arising from the offer as this is a complementary offer.
  • MakeMyTrip reserves the right to withdraw/amend/modify the offer at any time without prior notice.
  • MakeMyTrip is the sole authority for interpretation of these terms.

Bonus Points

  • Bonus points will be awarded to customers only after completion of any of the below mentioned bookings
         1. 6 room nights
         2. 10 room nights
         3. 3 holiday packages
        
  • Bonus points can only be earned once in a year against each milestone
  • The year timeframe of bonus points eligibility start from the date of joining of the customers
  • Room night that cost less than Rs. 2000 will not be considered to check the eligibility criteria of bonus points allocation
  • Only online bookings will be considered to check the eligibility criteria of room nights for bonus points allocation
  • Only Holiday package including a hotel will be considered to check the eligibility criteria of bonus points allocation
  • Holiday packages that cost less than Rs. 25000 will not be considered to check the eligibility criteria of bonus points allocation
  • Any booking that is cancelled will not be considered to check the eligibility criteria of bonus points allocation
  • Any booking that is in pending state will not be considered to check the eligibility criteria of bonus points allocation
  • In case of partial cancellation of booking, only that part of travel which is completed will be considered to check the eligibility criteria of bonus points allocation
  • Customer acknowledges that as this offer is complementary, no service deficiency claims or compensation claims shall be maintainable against MakeMyTrip
  • MakeMyTrip reserves the right to withdraw/amend/modify the offer at any time without prior notice.
  • MakeMyTrip is the sole authority for interpretation of these terms.

Termination

  • At no time Reward Points will be credited to or rewards request be issued to, purchased by, or sold to any person other than the My Trip Rewards Member. The Member acknowledges that no claims on wrongful transfer of points shall be maintainable against MakeMyTrip. Any such Reward Points or requests for rewards are void. Any person who commits such acts is liable for damages, litigation and related costs to MakeMyTrip, which reserves the right, to terminate the My Trip Rewards membership or deactivate such transferor’s My Trip Rewards Membership Account.
  • My Trip Rewards Member may terminate his/her My Trip Rewards membership by calling My Trip Rewards priority service and requesting for termination. The member should provide the required credentials vis-à-vis customer information already provided by the My Trip Rewards member.
  • Misuse of My Trip Rewards card or the membership benefits may result in termination of the membership or withdrawal of benefits at the sole discretion of MakeMyTrip.
  • Disqualification of a My Trip Rewards Member, arising out of his/her misconduct, fraud and misuse of rewards or acts in a manner inconsistent with any central/state/local laws, statutes or ordinances, may result in immediate termination of My Trip Rewards membership and cancellation of all Reward Points and rewards. Any My Trip Rewards Member so disqualified shall not be entitled to redeem his Reward Points after such disqualification.
  • MakeMyTrip reserves the right to terminate the Program, by giving 30 working days’ notice to all My Trip Rewards Members.
  • Upon the death of a member, his/her My Trip Rewards membership account will be closed and all outstanding Reward Points will lapse.

PAYBACK Terms and conditions

  • The terms and conditions explain the nature and scope of the relationship between Loyalty Solutions & Research Pvt. Limited here in referred to as "LSRPL" (as owner and management for the program) and a member of LSRPL's loyalty program and who is issued the PAYBACK card. The terms and conditions cover limitations and exclusions on the liability of LSRPL, PAYBACK and the PAYBACK partners.

Definition

In these terms and conditions, unless the context specifies otherwise:

  • "Earn Activity" means any activity, which results in accruing of PAYBACK points to a member.
  • "LSRPL" shall mean Loyalty Solutions & Research Pvt Limited a company incorporated under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 and having its principal place of business at 4th & 5th Floors, Kabra Excelsior,#6A, 7th Main, 1st Block, Koramangala Industrial Layout, Bangalore—560 034 and such expression shall, unless it be repugnant to the subject or context thereof, include its successors, assigns, representatives and transferees.
  • "PAYBACK Card" means a PAYBACK multi partner loyalty program card issued to a PAYBACK Member by LSRPL where a unique membership number is given to every PAYBACK member.
  • "PAYBACK Member(s)" means a PAYBACK customer, who is enrolled as a member of PAYBACK holding a valid PAYBACK card/membership number. Membership to the program is governed by these rules set by LSRPL for this program and are subject to change.
  • "PAYBACK Membership Account/ PAYBACK Membership" means the account where the PAYBACK Member's PAYBACK Points will be accumulated.
  • "PAYBACK Network" means all the PAYBACK Partners and LSRPL for the time being taken as a whole.
  • "PAYBACK Partner" means any or all of the present or future entities, partners, shops, departmental stores, airlines, hotels, restaurants, car rental companies and other participating establishments in the program whether with online or offline presence, in agreement with LSRPL, where members can accumulate PAYBACK points for purchase of goods and services.
  • "PAYBACK Point(s)" is the unit currency of the program. PAYBACK Members are awarded PAYBACK Points for earn activities carried out by the PAYBACK Member within the PAYBACK network.
  • "PAYBACK Rewards" means the rewards as enlisted by the rewards supplier in the PAYBACK rewards catalog as communicated from time to time.
  • "PAYBACK Rewards Catalog" means the periodical rewards catalog issued and maintained by LSRPL for the program containing the PAYBACK Rewards currently available in the program and the number of PAYBACK Points required for them.
  • "Program" means the PAYBACK multi partner loyalty program, managed and operated by LSRPL offering benefits, facilities or arrangements to PAYBACK Members by reason of their membership into LSRPL's multi partner loyalty program, whereby PAYBACK points are accumulated on every Earn Activity made by PAYBACK Members within PAYBACK network and such PAYBACK points may be used by the PAYBACK Member for redemption of PAYBACK Points through the rewards catalog offered for PAYBACK.
  • "Redemption" means any activity, which results in exchange of PAYBACK Points by a PAYBACK Member for PAYBACK Rewards.
  • "Supplier " shall mean an independent third party responsible for the purchase and sale of the PAYBACK Rewards to the PAYBACK Members.
  • "Working Days" means the period from Monday to Friday, inclusive of both days.

General Conditions

  • The PAYBACK Member agrees that by using the PAYBACK Card or by entering his/her PAYBACK number at www.payback.in or at any PAYBACK Partner online or offline, he/she has read and understood the these terms and conditions of the Program and confirms that he/she is bound by these terms and conditions and any changes to it from time to time and such other terms as specified from LSRPL from time to time.
  • Membership into PAYBACK is voluntary, open to all natural persons above the age of 18 with a valid mailing address in the Republic of India.
  • LSRPL reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions and such changes shall be deemed effective immediately upon posting of the modified Terms and Conditions on www.payback.in. Your continued holding of the PAYBACK Membership Account following the posting of changes on www.payback.in will indicate your acceptance the changes.
  • PAYBACK membership is valid for lifetime of the PAYBACK Member unless terminated in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  • PAYBACK Membership Account is not a payment medium.
  • PAYBACK membership is non-transferable, except as specified in this terms and conditions. PAYBACK Points are non-negotiable, non-redeemable by cash and cannot be gifted, awarded or rewarded to any other person than the PAYBACK member himself.
  • PAYBACK Members will be personally liable for any and all costs, taxes, charges, claims or liabilities of whatever nature arising from the provision or availability of benefits, facilities or arrangements provided or made available to a PAYBACK Member, by PAYBACK Partners, as a result of his/her membership in the Program.
  • The PAYBACK card at all times remains the property of LSRPL, which reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion and without giving notice to such member to deactivate the PAYBACK Membership. The PAYBACK Member must return or destroy his/her PAYBACK card without delay whenever requested by LSRPL and in such circumstances cannot redeem the PAYBACK Points, which will automatically expire
  • LSRPL will endeavor to ensure that the services, benefits, facilities and arrangements as expressed or advertised by the PAYBACK Partners will be available to the PAYBACK Members. However, LSRPL will not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, arising from the provision or non-provision whether whole or part, of any such services, benefits, facilities or any other arrangements by the PAYBACK Partners.
  • When a PAYBACK Member seeks to use or obtain any of the services, benefits, facilities and arrangements as offered by the PAYBACK Partner, the provisions of such services, benefits, facilities or arrangements will be subject to the respective terms and conditions of the PAYBACK Partner, being the provider of the said benefits, facilities and arrangements.
  • LSRPL shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct or indirect, resulting from termination or change of the Program or any of its facilities, benefits or arrangements which are made available to the PAYBACK Members, including without limitation, PAYBACK Partner's withdrawal or the withdrawal or limiting of any such services, benefits or facilities.
  • The Program of PAYBACK may be modified at the sole discretion of LSRPL from time to time without intimation to the PAYBACK Member.
  • LSRPL shall not be liable in the event it fails to fulfill any of its obligations under this terms and conditions due to flood, earthquake, storm, cyclone or any other acts of god of similar nature, war, strike, lockout, or governmental or judicial or quasi-judicial policies/intervention/direction /prohibition or change in law or for any other reasons beyond its control.
  • A waiver of any of the terms and conditions by LSRPL shall not be deemed to be a continuing waiver, but shall apply solely to the instances to which the waiver is directed.
  • A PAYBACK Card shall be accepted only at locations identified in the list provided to the PAYBACK Members at www.payback.in. LSRPL can at any time without intimation to the PAYBACK Members add and / or delete PAYBACK Partners from such list. The same shall be updated on www.payback.in.
  • PAYBACK Members are required to inform all contact detail changes to LSRPL immediately to LSRPL's Contact Center or at www.payback.in. If a PAYBACK Member fails to provide change of address information immediately to LSRPL, LSRPL or its Partners will not be responsible for any delay in delivery of the products/ services ordered by the PAYBACK Member
  • All PAYBACK Point dispute complaints older than 45 days from the date of the transaction will not be entertained. The PAYBACK Member must provide proof of transaction as required by LSRPL to register any PAYBACK Point dispute.
  • The PAYBACK Member acknowledges and understands that LSRPL is merely an intermediary and does not assume any liability or acquire any right, title or interest in the rewards. LSRPL is only engaged in the management of the Rewards displayed in the PAYBACK Rewards Catalog; however all the rewards are offered by the vendors to the members directly.

Enrolment in the Program

  • It is the PAYBACK Members' responsibility to share the correct communication details with PAYBACK at the time of enrolling into the Program.
  • Prospective PAYBACK Members can enroll into the Program at selected PAYBACK Partner outlets or on www.payback.in, by filling in the registration form. PAYBACK Partners may also enroll prospective PAYBACK Member to the Program.
  • LSRPL shall reserve the right to offer the Program by invitation to any Prospective PAYBACK Members as it may deem fit. Membership to the Program is at the sole discretion of LSRPL and it may refuse membership to any applicant without assigning any reasons.
  • Each PAYBACK Member can have a maximum of one PAYBACK Card at any point in time, unless otherwise specified. If a PAYBACK Member is found to have multiple memberships in the Program, LSRPL may choose to restrict any of the PAYBACK Membership.
  • If a PAYBACK Member holds more than one PAYBACK Card, it is the duty of such PAYBACK Member to call LSRPL Contact Center and request for an account aggregation. LSRPL on such request shall cancel that card(s) which the PAYBACK Member does not want to retain and transfer the PAYBACK Points, earned if any, into a single PAYBACK Membership Account

Uses of PAYBACK Card and PAYBACK Membership

  • By using his/her PAYBACK Card and/or stating his/her PAYBACK number to LSRPL and/or any PAYBACK Partners, a PAYBACK Member grants his/her consents to LSRPL creating, storing, maintaining and updating the PAYBACK Member's data. Such data shall include membership data (like name, address, telephone number, mobile number, date of birth,, areas of interest, preferences etc. as provided by the PAYBACK Member), usage data (including without limitation, transactions and PAYBACK Points accrued at various PAYBACK Partners, etc.), and data concerning contacts with LSRPL (including without limitation, enquiry regarding membership) for the purpose of providing relevant information and customer services to the PAYBACK Member. In connection with the Program. All data relating to the PAYBACK Members shall be protected and used by LSRPL in the manner indicated in LSRPL's Privacy Policy.
  • If any PAYBACK Member loses the PAYBACK card, the PAYBACK member must inform LSRPL's Contact Center immediately. Till such time the loss has been reported to LSRPL, LSRPL shall not be liable for any losses incurred by misuse of such PAYBACK Card. A new PAYBACK Card will be issued to such PAYBACK Member on request after blocking and cancellation of the old PAYBACK Card and after due and proper verification by LSRPL. The fresh PAYBACK Card will indicate a fresh PAYBACK Card number, however all other PAYBACK Membership Account details and the PAYBACK Points will continue to be retained as is.

Accrual of PAYBACK Points

  • PAYBACK Members can accrue PAYBACK Points earned by them through a transaction with a PAYBACK Partner for the purchase of goods or services paid by cash, credit/debit card, cheque, online payment, standing instruction or any other means of payment agreed upon by the PAYBACK Partner.
  • PAYBACK Members will also be awarded PAYBACK Points for non-transactional activities as communicated from time to time through www.payback.in or through any other means of communication as decided by LSRPL from time to time.
  • PAYBACK Points awarded may vary between different PAYBACK Partners depending on the arrangement LSRPL has with the PAYBACK Partner. Details of all PAYBACK Points will be communicated to the PAYBACK Members through www.payback.in or through any other means of communication as decided by LSRPL from time to time.
  • To accrue PAYBACK Points, a PAYBACK Member must present his/her PAYBACK Card or PAYBACK number at the time of completing the Earn Activity. If a PAYBACK Member fails to present the PAYBACK card or PAYBACK number when visiting or on availing such services, this may result in the applicable PAYBACK Points not being accrued by the PAYBACK Member and in such instance LSRPL or the PAYBACK Partner shall not be responsible in this regard.
  • The method of earning PAYBACK Points from PAYBACK Partners is subject to change from time to time. Such change will be communicated through www.payback.in and through any other means of communication as decided by LSRPL from time to time.
  • PAYBACK Partners may change any of the terms and conditions of their business at any time without notice to the PAYBACK Member. LSRPL is not responsible for informing PAYBACK Members of any such changes. LSRPL has no liability for the acts and omissions of the PAYBACK Partners.
  • All PAYBACK Members are required to obtain and preserve for a period of 45 Working Days [appropriate documentation for all transactions done with PAYBACK Partners that earn PAYBACK Points. It is the PAYBACK Member's responsibility to ensure that the Electronic Data Collection generated transaction slip is accurate.
  • LSRPL has no liability for the acts and omissions of the PAYBACK Partners.

PAYBACK Points calculation

  • PAYBACK Points accrued through transactions at PAYBACK Partners shall be credited to member's account within maximum of 45 working days.
  • PAYBACK Points accrued through any other Earn Activity shall be credited to PAYBACK Member's account within such period as is mentioned for such Earn Activity.
  • PAYBACK Point's will not be credited back in the Payback Membership Account in case (i) the PAYBACK Member decides to return the goods and services, forfeited and unused services or(ii) Goods or services acquired by using PAYBACK Points.
  • PAYBACK Points are accrued in whole. PAYBACK Members will not be awarded PAYBACK Points in fractions.
  • PAYBACK Points are valid for a period of three years from the date of credit into the PAYBACK Member's account. PAYBACK Points shall expire after a time determined by LSRPL and the PAYBACK member shall not be entitled to redeem any of such lapsed PAYBACK points.
  • In the event of a PAYBACK Member not using his/her PAYBACK Card for a continuous period of 24 months (2 years)to earn and/ or redeem PAYBACK Points, the PAYBACK membership account will be terminated without notice . All PAYBACK Points accumulated on such unused account shall be purged.
  • PAYBACK Points from a PAYBACK Member's account cannot be pooled or combined with the PAYBACK Points of another PAYBACK Member's account.
  • If PAYBACK Members participate in earn Activities at more than one PAYBACK Partner subject to the consent of the PAYBACK partners, the PAYBACK Members are eligible for multiple memberships in the Program and the PAYBACK points will be credited in the respective PAYBACK membership Accounts.
  • Complaints on PAYBACK Points not credited to account from any PAYBACK Partner will be entertained only if the date of transaction is not older than 45 working days. The PAYBACK Member must provide proof of transaction as required by LSRPL to register any PAYBACK Point dispute.

Transfer of PAYBACK Points

  • At no time may PAYBACK Points will be credited to or PAYBACK Rewards request be issued to, purchased by, or sold to or otherwise transferred to any person other than the PAYBACK Member. Any such PAYBACK Points or requests for PAYBACK Rewards are void. Any person who commits such acts is liable for damages, litigation and related costs to LSRPL, which reserves the right, to terminate the PAYBACK membership of the transferor or remove such person from the PAYBACK Network or deactivate such transferor's PAYBACK Membership Account.

PAYBACK Point statement, Program updates & notices

  • PAYBACK Members can call the PAYBACK Contact Center nos. or register on www.payback.in in the "My Accounts" page for obtaining a summary of their recent transaction and obtaining their PAYBACK Point balance.
  • Any notice, information, intimation, change, modification, alteration of the PAYBACK Rewards Catalog shall be deemed to have been given to the PAYBACK Member forthwith upon updating www.payback.in of such changes, modification, alteration or notice on.

Redemption of PAYBACK Points

  • PAYBACK Points can be redeemed against the PAYBACK Rewards Catalog, or within the PAYBACK Network, subject to the PAYBACK Member providing the required credentials vis-à-vis customer information already provided by the PAYBACK member.
  • LSRPL will maintain a PAYBACK Rewards Catalog on www.payback.in specifying the products and services which would be available for PAYBACK Rewards against PAYBACK Points accumulated by a PAYBACK Member. Redemption against PAYBACK Rewards Catalog can happen by approaching the PAYBACK Contact Center and/or through login at www.payback.in or selected online and offline PAYBACK Partners.
  • All the items featured in the PAYBACK Rewards Catalog are subject to availability and suppliers warranties and restrictions at the time of claiming the PAYBACK Rewards. In case an item selected by a PAYBACK Member is not available, PAYBACK Members may choose to select from the other available items from the PAYBACK Rewards Catalog.
  • Subject to clause 9.8, PAYBACK Rewards once requested cannot be canceled or withdrawn or changed and the PAYBACK Points used for the same cannot be refunded.
  • On receipt of the PAYBACK Rewards request by LSRPL Contact Center or www.payback.in or visiting selected online and offline PAYBACK Partners PAYBACK Points will automatically be deducted from the accumulated PAYBACK Points from the PAYBACK Members account.
  • All requests issued for PAYBACK Rewards are subject to any statutory regulations, rules and restrictions, if any and the PAYBACK Member agrees to abide by such statutory regulations, rules and restrictions.
  • PAYBACK Rewards have no monetary refund value.
  • All orders placed via PAYBACK Contact Center or www.payback.in can be cancelled only between 10 am to 7 pm on the same day. However, any Redemption at PAYBACK Partner outlets or PAYBACK Points redeemed at PAYBACK Partner online stores cannot be canceled.
  • The member should be above the age of 18 and eligible as per the rules laid down by business for redemption process. These rules are subject to change.
  • To activate redemption, customer must update his/her Date of Birth in his/her account under profile section

Termination of PAYBACK membership

  • A PAYBACK Member may terminate his/her PAYBACK membership by calling LSRPL's Contact Center and requesting for termination. The PAYBACK Member shall provide the required credentials vis-à-vis customer information already provided by the PAYBACK member.
  • Misuse of PAYBACK card or the membership benefits may result in termination of the membership or withdrawal of benefits at the sole discretion of LSRPL.
  • Disqualification of a PAYBACK Member, arising out of his/her misconduct, fraud and misuse of PAYBACK Rewards or acts in a manner inconsistent with any central/state/local laws, statutes or ordinances, may result in immediate termination of PAYBACK membership and cancellation of all PAYBACK Points and PAYBACK Rewards. Any PAYBACK Member so disqualified shall not be entitled to redeem his PAYBACK Points after such disqualification.
  • Upon the death of a PAYBACK Member, his/her PAYBACK membership account will be closed and all outstanding PAYBACK Points will expire.

Miscellaneous

  • Settlement of disputes: terms and conditions, set herein, shall be governed by the laws of India only. All disputes arising under the terms and conditions subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bangalore only All claims and disputes arising under the terms and conditions should be notified to LSRPL within 45 working days from the event date after which no PAYBACK Member shall have any claim against LSRPL.
  • PAYBACK or its Parent Company shall have the right to transfer, assign and sell in any manner, in whole or in part, the Program to any third party of its choice without reference or intimation to the PAYBACK Members.
  • PAYBACK membership enrollment and eligibility, earning PAYBACK Points, claiming PAYBACK Rewards, availability of PAYBACK Rewards and redemption are subject to the terms and conditions herein and are subject to any applicable laws and regulations.
  • LSRPL reserves the right to terminate the Program, by giving 30 working day notice to all PAYBACK Members.
  • Upon termination or withdrawal of the Program, all PAYBACK Members will be given 30 working day time within which they may use the PAYBACK Points in their PAYBACK Membership Account to request for PAYBACK Rewards, after which the PAYBACK Points will be purged.
  • LSRPL and PAYBACK Partners shall not be liable to any PAYBACK Member or his/her nominee or companion, for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expense of any kind whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with PAYBACK, including the functioning of the helpline and/or www.payback.in, and/or provision or the refusal to provide any benefits, whether such loss, damage or expense is caused by the negligence or otherwise, and whether LSRPL and/or any of its PAYBACK Partners have any control over the circumstances giving rise to the claim or not.
  • PAYBACK Members must always carry the PAYBACK card securely and should not share the information pertaining to his PAYBACK membership with anyone
  • LSRPL will not ask for PAYBACK Member's password and other details through any e-mail or SMS. Please beware of spam mails and phishing and do not share your PAYBACK Membership Account details with mail id which appear to be coming from unauthorized sources.

Redemption terms and conditions

  • Availability of the PAYBACK Rewards and PAYBACK Points required for Redemption in PAYBACK Rewards Catalog are subject to change without prior notice.
  • All PAYBACK Rewards sent will be as per the description mentioned in the PAYBACK Rewards Catalog.
  • Travel PAYBACK Rewards are subject to availability and normal airline conditions of carriage. All travel rewards are subject to their specific terms and conditions and terms and conditions of the Suppliers, travel agents and airlines.
  • Selection of PAYBACK Rewards offered for Redemption is and will be at the sole discretion of LSRPL and is liable to change without prior notice.
  • LSRPL will not be held responsible where any Supplier of Payback Rewards withdraws, cancels, alters or amends those PAYBACK Rewards.
  • LSRPL is not responsible for changes to, or discontinuance of, any Supplier or Supplier product or service, or if any Supplier withdraws from the Program or for any effect on or devaluation of PAYBACK Rewards caused by such change, discontinuance, or withdrawal. PAYBACK Members may not rely upon the continued availability of any PAYBACK Rewards or award level.
  • LSRPL does not accept liability for damage to persons or property whatsoever caused in relation To PAYBACK Rewards redeemed by PAYBACK Members in the Program.
  • PAYBACK Rewards image displayed on the PAYBACK Rewards Catalog is merely indicative and subject to change as per availability and is not final.
  • The member should be above the age of 18 and eligible as per the rules laid down by business for redemption process. These rules are subject to change.

Warranty / Guarantee

  • All warranties and guarantees on the PAYBACK Rewards are the sole responsibility of the Suppliers providing the PAYBACK Rewards LSRPL shall not be liable or responsible for any defect or deficiency in the PAYBACK Rewards. All guarantees and warranties on the PAYBACK Rewards shall be transferred as is from the manufacturer or the Supplier.
  • PAYBACK Members must contact the respective supplier/ manufacturer in case of any defect or deficiency or deficiency in the PAYBACK Rewards. Alternatively, the PAYBACK Member may choose to contact PAYBACK Contact Center for any defect or deficiency or deficiency in the PAYBACK Rewards. In such event, LSRPL will purely act as a complaint routing agent. LSRPL will not be liable or responsible for the products and services offered through the PAYBACK Rewards Catalog and LSRPL gives no warranty with respect to quality of goods acquired or their suitability for any purpose.
  • PAYBACK Rewards in the nature of gift vouchers or voucher featured in the PAYBACK Rewards Catalog always carry a validity period, post which these vouchers will not be honored by the Supplier. All gift vouchers and e-vouchers will be subject to their respective terms and conditions of the Supplier.
  • In case of non-receipt of the warranty card for any PAYBACK Rewards the PAYBACK Member must inform LSRPL's Contact Center offering the PAYBACK Rewards within 7 working days of acceptance of the PAYBACK Rewards.

Product Delivery

  • All reasonable efforts would be taken by the Supplier to ensure that delivery of PAYBACK rewards are fulfilled within 10 working days of the receipt of the order unless the delay is due to conditions beyond the control of the Supplier or unless otherwise specified. LSRPL will not be liable for any delay beyond the time period specified herein.
  • Once a PAYBACK Reward is dispatched through a courier by the Supplier & incase of a delay by the courier company in getting the PAYBACK Reward delivered to the PAYBACK Member. Please contact the courier company.
  • Redemption orders from PAYBACK Members once given to LSRPL cannot be cancelled or withdrawn or changed. PAYBACK Rewards once delivered cannot be returned or cancelled by a PAYBACK member, unless there is a defect in the PAYBACK Rewards.
  • In case of flowers or perishable products the cost of the returned PAYBACK Rewards will be borne by the PAYBACK Member.
  • For all Redemptions on www.payback.in, please ensure your contact details are valid and accurate. If not, please update your PAYBACK Membership Account by logging in to www.payback.in or calling LSRPL Contact Center.
  • If a PAYBACK Member has not given correct address or is not available at the mentioned address at the time of delivery, the PAYBACK Reward will be delivered to the person available at the given address. LSRPL will not be held responsible and will not take any liability in such instance.
  • If LSRPL team does not receive any complaint of non-receipt of PAYBACK Reward within 20 working days from the date of Redemption of the PAYBACK Rewards it shall be assumed that the PAYBACK Member has received the PAYBACK Reward.
  • Delivery of the PAYBACK Reward to the office address / apartments will be done at the reception or the front desk, as the case may be. Such delivery of PAYBACK rewards would be at the sole risk of the PAYBACK member.
  • On Redemption, PAYBACK Points would automatically be removed from accumulated PAYBACK Points in the PAYBACK Member's account.
  • PAYBACK Points are redeemable only against rewards, vouchers or services as featured in PAYBACK Rewards Catalog, as updated from time to time, as well as within the PAYBACK Network. Information supplied by a PAYBACK Member on the Redemption of certain PAYBACK Rewards may be used by LSRPL or the Supplier for the purposes of fulfilling the Redemption request.
  • Order confirmation mails will be sent only for orders received through www.payback.in.
  • For all web orders, Please ensure shipping address, Mobile number & email address is checked before the order is placed on website. This information can be viewed under the "My account" section
  • SMS will be sent to the PAYBACK Members after placing a redemption order at the PAYBACK Rewards catalog. This SMS will be sent to the mobile number provided by the PAYBACK member.
  • LSRPL reserves the right to change or cancel the program without prior notice. Redemption claims submitted prior to the effective date of the change or cancellation of the LSRPL's program will still be honored within a 30-day time limit.
  • In the event of a dispute between LSRPL and a PAYBACK Member on the PAYBACK Reward will be subject arbitration in Bangalore as per the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The number of arbitrators shall be three, where each Party will have the right to appoint one (1) arbitrator and the two (2) arbitrators will appoint the third arbitrator. The language to be used in the arbitral proceedings will be English.
  • All logos and trademarks on the PAYBACK Rewards Catalog and on the PAYBACK Rewards are owned by the respective companies.
  • The PAYBACK Member acknowledges and agrees that LSRPL shall not be liable or responsible for the rewards offered through the PAYBACK Rewards Program. All Rewards are offered to the members directly by the vendors.
  • LSRPL shall not be held liable for any damage caused to the PAYBACK Reward while in transit from the vendor's location to the PAYBACK Member's location. All complaints regarding the same shall fall within the terms cited in clause 13 herein above (Warranty/ Guarantee)

Return / Exchange Policy

  • Any damaged PAYBACK rewards need to be notified to the PAYBACK contact center within 7 days from the date of receipt of the PAYBACK Reward post which complaints will not be entertained.
  • All damaged PAYBACK rewards need to be shipped back by the PAYBACK Member to the Supplier at the Supplier's address indicated on the delivery challan. Please maintain the delivery challan for the PAYBACK Rewards returned to the Supplier till the complaint is closed. LSRPL will not be responsible for the products that are directly sent to supplier by the PAYBACK Member.
  • LSRPL will not be responsible for PAYBACK Rewards or vouchers stolen, damaged or lost in transit before delivery to the PAYBACK Member. This responsibility entirely lies with the Supplier and courier company which is used for fulfillment of the PAYBACK Reward. LSRPL will forward all such complaints to the concerned Supplier subject to establishing the authenticity of cases and review.
  • PAYBACK Members must strictly follow the Supplier's designated procedures to exchange defective PAYBACK Rewards. Under no circumstances will the PAYBACK Rewards be refunded or exchanged for PAYBACK Points or cash.
  • PAYBACK Points for the returned PAYBACK Rewards due to damage will be refunded to PAYBACK Member's PAYBACK Membership Account within 15 days from date of return of the PAYBACK Reward. The PAYBACK Member may choose to place a fresh order for the PAYBACK Reward upon refund of the PAYBACK Points.

PAYBACK privacy policy
