- Customer needs to quote/mention the deal code “KOTAKHOLIDAY” to be eligible for the cash back.
- Customer cannot club two offers during the same transaction. The cash back benefit cannot be combined with any other promotional benefit offered for bookings on MMT, except in scenarios where the other benefit is not funded by MMT.
- The cardholder will be required to make payment as per the price quoted by MMT on www.makemytrip.com (MMT website) or at telebooking centre, without considering the cash back benefit, for any travel service purchase.
- The cashback would be calculated on the non-air component of the holiday package/hotel booking. It will not be applicable on the air fares and the taxes. All taxes including but not limited to Airport taxes, Visa charges, high season surcharge are payable by the customer and are not part of the cash back offer.
- Within 7 working days following the date of such purchase, MMT will process a credit transaction for the cashback amount on to the customer's credit card account.
- The cashback shall be credited to the same credit card as was used for the purpose of making the purchase and will be reflected in the monthly credit card statement.
- Maximum cashback of Rs.7,500/- per card.
- Valid on Holidays and Hotel bookings both domestic and international.
- The cashback will be calculated on each booking ID and not on number of transactions. So if a customer pays in 2 installments/transactions for 1 booking ID, the cashback will be calculated basis the base amount or card charged amount (whichever is lower) of the booking ID.
- If the cardholder cancels the travel service purchase after the cashback amount is credited, MMT will refund the purchase price after deducting the cashback amount and any other applicable cancellation charges / penalty. E.g. If a cardholder has paid Rs.10,000 (price quoted) for a travel service on the MMT website and a cash back of Rs.1,000 has been credited to the cardholders account, the net amount paid by the cardholder is Rs.9,000. Thus, if the cardholder cancels the booking, MMT will deduct the cancellation charge/penalty from Rs.9,000 and the balance amount will be credited to the cardholder's account.
- Date change, name change are allowed. However the customer has to bear the additional charges as required.
- The offer is valid for bookings from 1st October to 31st March 2010.
- Prior to using the MMT website, the cardholder should read and understand the User Agreement of the said website and proceed to make purchases only if the cardholder agrees to abide by the same. The cardholder shall be required to give personal information and credit card details online for the tickets purchased on www.makemytrip.com. The cardholder should read and understand the Privacy policy for the MMT website, prior to providing such information.
- Kotak Bank cardholders who are Travel Agents by occupation, are barred from buying tickets for their customers using their own Kotak Bank credit cards. MMT reserves the right to cancel such tickets if such a case comes to the notice of MMT.
- Kotak Bank and MakeMyTrip reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether.
- All disputes, if any, arising out of or in connection with or as a result of above offers or otherwise relating hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts / tribunals in Mumbai only, irrespective of whether courts / tribunals in other areas have concurrent or similar jurisdiction.
