This cashback offer is made solely and entirely by MakeMyTrip (India) Private Ltd and is available only for Retail Internet Banking account holders of ICICI Bank Limited (“ICICI Bank”) using the internet banking facility provided by ICICI Bank through its website.
"Account" shall mean and include an account held with ICICI Bank with retail internet banking facility, which is used for making the payment to MakeMyTrip.com.
"Customer" shall mean and include an account holder of ICICI Bank who books a hotel on the website of MakeMyTrip i.e. www.makemytrip.com (“Website”) during the program period and makes the payment to MakeMyTrip through the account to avail the cashback offer under the program.
"Program" shall mean the cashback offer provided solely and entirely by MakeMyTrip to the customer for making the payment of the hotel booking through the account during the program period.
“Program Period” shall mean the period commencing from May 19, 2010 and ending on September 30, 2010 (both days inclusive).
Cashback under the program shall be available to the customer on booking of hotel on the website and making payment from the account through ICICI Bank internet banking facility during the promotion period subject to the terms specified herein.
Customer shall be required to enter the code ‘ICICINET’ while booking on the website in order to be eligible for the program. Incase, the customer fails to enter the code, he/she shall not be eligible for the benefits under the program and cannot claim the cashback.
30% cashback under the program shall be provided by MakeMyTrip on basic room tariff on online hotel bookings (exclusive of all taxes) subject to a maximum cashback of Rs.500/- per night or Rs.1500/- per transaction (whichever is lower), provided the booking amount is more than Rs.5000 and the hotel booking is made through the website (www.makemytrip.com) between May 19, 2010 and September 30, 2010.
15% cashback under the program shall be provided by MakeMyTrip on basic room tariff on online hotel bookings (exclusive of all taxes) subject to a maximum cashback of Rs.500/- per night or Rs.1500/- per transaction (whichever is lower), provided the booking amount is upto Rs.5000 and the hotel booking is made through the Website (www.makemytrip.com) between May 19, 2010 and September 30, 2010.
This cashback offer is not applicable where the payment is being made through ICICI Bank Credit Card.
At the time of booking the hotel the Customer shall be required to make payment as per the price quoted by MakeMyTrip on the website.
The cashback will be processed within fifteen (15) working days following the date of transaction.
The cashback shall be credited to the same account as was used for the purpose of making the purchase and will be reflected in the statement.
If the customer cancels the travel service purchase after the cashback amount is credited, MakeMyTrip will refund the purchase price after deducting the cashback amount provided the cashback amount is credited to the Account and any other applicable cancellation charges / penalty. E.g. If a Customer has paid Rs.10,000 (price quoted) for a travel service on the Website and a cashback of Rs.1,000 has been credited to the customer’s account, the net amount paid by the customer is Rs.9,000. Thus, if the customer cancels the booking, MakeMyTrip will deduct the cancellation charge/penalty from Rs.9,000 and the balance amount will be credited to the customer's account.
The availability of hotel bookings are subject to confirmation.
Customer cannot club two offers during the same transaction. The cashback benefit cannot be combined with any other promotional benefit offered for bookings on MakeMyTrip, except in scenarios where the other benefit is not funded by MakeMyTrip.
Date change, name changes are allowed for hotel bookings. However the customer has to bear the additional charges as required.
The customers are not bound in any way to participate in these offers. Any such participation is voluntary and the offer is being made purely on a best effort basis.
Prior to using the website, the customer should read and understand the User Agreement of the said website and proceed to make purchases only if the customer agrees to abide by the same.
Customers who are travel agents by occupation are barred from buying tickets for their customers using their own account. MakeMyTrip reserves the right to cancel such tickets if such a case comes to the notice of MakeMyTrip.
ICICI Bank and/or MakeMyTrip reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary all of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part, this offer by another offer, whether similar to this offer or not, or to extend or withdraw it altogether.
MakeMyTrip and/or ICICI Bank is neither responsible for nor guarantees the quality or delivery of the airlines or any other service provider and shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss/ damage/ claim that may arise out of use or otherwise of any goods/ services availed of by the customers under the program.
ICICI Bank holds out no warranty or makes no representation about the quality, delivery or otherwise of the goods and services offered by MakeMyTrip or the airline service provider.
