MyWallet is a quick and handy way to manage your booking refunds with Makemytrip. The next time you cancel a booking, transfer your refund amount to your MyWallet account. Once you have money in your MyWallet account, select MyWallet on the checkout page and use it to make quick bookings at MakeMyTrip !
Just login to your MakeMyTrip account and click on the MyWallet tab on the left. You would be able to see your account balance and summary of your recent MyWallet transactions.
While cancelling your booking, select the 'Cancel & Refund to MyWallet' option to transfer money to your MyWallet account.
While making a new booking, select 'MyWallet' option on the payment page.
In case the booking amount exceeds MyWallet balance, pay the remaining amount using any other payment option.
MyWallet is the instrument to park money in your MakeMyTrip (MMT) Account as a prepaid balance, and can be used only for bookings with MakeMyTrip.
Balance in MyWallet doesn't bear interest.
'My Cash' amount credited in your MyWallet account post a cancellation or failed booking is refundable into the same card/account used for making the payment at the time of booking. This amount does not expire.
'Bonus' amount credited in your MyWallet account by MakeMyTrip in connection with MakeMyTrip's promotional and marketing campaigns is non-refundable and shall expire as per applicable offer terms.
No other discount coupon or offer of MakeMyTrip can be clubbed in a booking where 'Bonus' amount is sought to be used.
'Bonus' amount present in your MyWallet account can be utilized in bookings subject to below conditions:
Limit of 'Bonus' amount which may be redeemed in each booking:
|Domestic flights||Rs. 500 or 7.5% of the total booking amount, whichever is lower|
|International Flights||Rs. 2500 or 20% of the total booking amount, whichever is lower|
|Domestic Hotels||Rs. 4,000 or 15% of the total pre-tax booking amount, whichever is lower|
|International Hotels||Rs. 4,000 or 15% of the total booking amount, whichever is lower|
|Flight plus Hotel (Domestic and International)||Rs. 1,500 or 10% of the total booking amount, whichever is lower|
|Bus||Rs. 50 or 10% of the total booking amount, whichever is lower|
|Online Holiday Booking||Rs 5,000 or 5% of the total booking amount, whichever is lower|
Bonus' amount shall not be used for Rail bookings.
'Bonus' amount can be used only in bookings done through Android or IOS mobile apps.
'Bonus' amount is not transferable.
In case of cancellation of bookings made through MyWallet, the refunds if any after deducting cancellation charges will be processed into the MyWallet account only. However, if the balance in MyWallet isn't adequate for the cancellation charges of a transaction, then the deficit will be deducted from the respective bank account or credit card from which payment for that transaction was initially made.
'Bonus' amount in MyWallet will be utilized after the cancellation or failed booking related amount is exhausted.
In case of bookings paid through a debit or credit card issued outside India, the refund amount cannot be transferred to MyWallet.
The customer agrees that he will not raise any charge back request with his/ her card issuing bank or entity for those amounts which are transferred to wallet after his/ her consent. Any such chargebacks from the card issuer or bank will be denied by MMT, and MMT reserves its rights to recover the money from the customer for any chargebacks requested and made in contravention of this clause.
MMT has the sole discretion for rewarding the MyWallet user with promotional offers or points, monitoring and temporarily suspending the MyWallet account in case of any chargebacks or similar issues, etc.
These terms can be amended, modified or withdrawn by MakeMyTrip at any time without notice.
