All the above mentioned documents are necessary for this visa. Also required are:

• An application form completed in full and signed by applicant.

• National Identity Card, Residence documentation or valid proof of identity.
• A letter from the employer giving details of the applicant’s position, length of employment, salary and purpose of the visit(s) to Thailand. This is issued only for Family Visits. In case of a Student studying in Thailand this category of visa can be issued only for the Mother. It can be granted to the Father only if the Mother is deceased.

For others this visa can be issued to the Spouse, Children, Parents, Brothers and Sisters. Other relatives will be treated on a per case basis.

A Transit Visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter Thailand for any of the following purposes:
