Note: Visa Applications need to be submitted online for IVisa on the Malaysian High Commission's website, by authorized Travel Agents only.

The VFS Application Centers in Mumbai & Hyderabad are accepting a Visa Fee of Rs. 750/- & VFS charges are Rs. 335/- in cash only.


International Visa Service (IVS) is approved by Malaysian High Commission as Authorized Service Provider for IVisa.


Tourist

  • Visa Application Form filled completely with block capital letters and duly signed by the applicant.
  • The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 9 months from the date of entry into Malaysia.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs (35 mm width x 45 mm height) against a white background pasted and not stapled on the application form.
  • A typed covering letter from the applicant stating the purpose of travel./ Invitation letter/ supporting document(s) (if any)
  • Confirmed return air ticket, should be on one sheet only.
  • Visa is valid from 90 days up to one year at the discretion of the Immigration Authorities in Malaysia. Single / Multiple entry visas can be issued.
  • Processing time is strickly 3 working days.

Applicants residing in the States of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat & Goa wishing to apply for the Malaysia visa are advised to submit their applications at the Malaysia Visa Application Centre at 5th Floor, Aurum House, Plot No. 25, Dadyseth Lane, Next to Babulnath Temple, Mumbai 400 007, Monday to Friday from 08:00 hrs to 15:00 hrs except holidays. Passports which are issued from other states needs to submit any two stay proofs of their residence in Maharashtra / Madhya Pradesh / Gujarat, / Goa as per the below mentioned list: Lease & License Agreement. Last three month updated bank statement. Income Tax returns (Form 16). Address proof in the Companies letter head (Original). MTNL, BSNL bill of last month. Electricity bill of last month Marriage Certificate Credit Card Statement. Note: Kindly be advised as per the new rules of the Malaysian High Commission it is mandatory now to submit original Air ticket. If a dummy ticket is submitted along with the Visa Application and on checking if found dummy, than they can black list the applicant and may never be able to travel Malaysia in future. Family Visit

For a stay exceeding 30 days visa application is referred to Malaysia. This is also called Referral Visa. Application procedure and documents required are mentioned as under.

  • All documents mentioned below must be submitted in duplicate.
  • The Applicant should have a passport valid for at least 9 months from the date of entry into Malaysia.
  • Two sets of visa forms photocopied back to back.
  • Photocopy of the first 3 pages of the passport.
  • Two recent passport-size photographs (35 mm width x 45 mm height) against a white background pasted and not stapled on the application form.
  • A typed covering letter from the Applicant explaining the purpose of visit and a sponsorship letter from Malaysia.
  • High Commission retains the original documents which are forwarded to the Immigration Department at Kuala Lumpur for a fee of INR 210.
  • Approval is usually received in a month, directly by the High Commission.
  • Once this is confirmed upon enquiry, the Applicant must submit his/her passport, with confirmed return tickets, for stamping of the visa.
  • Processing time is 3 working days.
  • Visa is valid for 90 days and more, as per approval.

Note: Kindly be advised as per the new rules of the Malaysian High Commission it is mandatory now to submit original Air ticket. If a dummy ticket is submitted along with the Visa Application and on checking if found dummy, than they can black list the applicant and may never be able to travel Malaysia in future. High Commission will be taking a strong action against any agent who will submit such application. In the last week they even have black listed few agents for submitting dummy air tickets.   • Transit visa is granted on arrival for a stay not exceeding 120 hours, provided traveler is holding onward confirmed ticket and an entry visa for next destination.

Seamen

  • One visa application form (back to back photocopied).

  • A typed Covering letter from the Indian Shipping Company.
  • Indian seamen traveling on duty must hold Letter of Guarantee from the Shipping Company with their Seamen Book.
  • A fax message from the Shipping Company in Malaysia giving particulars of the seamen/man, date and port of joining the ship.
  • Onward country visa.
  • Confirmed return air ticket.
  • Visa is valid from 90 days up to one year at the discretion of the Immigration Authorities in Malaysia. Single / Multiple entry visas can be issued.
  • Processing time is strickly 3 working days.

    • Please note this Approval Copy is received in a sealed envelope and should not be opened by the Applicant.
  • Confirmed air ticket.
  • Original copy of VDR Approval Letter from Malaysian Immigration Department
  • An entry visa is issued, and period of stay is granted at the time of entry into Malaysia.
  • Processing time is strickly 3 working days.
