Thai Airways Baggage Allowance

The baggage rules on a Thai Airways flight are different for different classes. As per Thai Airways Baggage Policy, luggage weighing 20 kgs is allowed for guests travelling in Economy and Premium Economy Class, 30 Kgs for Royal Silk (Business) Class and 40 Kgs for First Class Passengers. However the cabin luggage restrictions for all classes are just the same, i.e. only 1 bag weighing no more than 7 kgs is allowed inside the cabin, the luggage dimensions being (56 x 45 x 25) cms.

Among them, three Boeing 737-400 have been leased out to Nok Air while eight Airbus 330-300 are going to be the latest possessions of Thai Airways.

Thai Airways Awards & Recognition

Thai Airways International was awarded 'Worlds Best Cabin Staff and 'The Best Airline in the World' by Skytrax in 2006. In 2007, it was ranked second in the 'Airline of the Year' category. The first class lounge at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok by Thai Airways was awarded ' World's Best First Class Lounge' by Skytrax in 2009. Thai Airways International was also awarded for its excellent in-flight hygiene measures by the World Health Organization.
