Both the terminals are inter-connected by buses and taxis. Considered the fourth busiest airport in Australia, Perth Airport handles more than 9,160,000 passengers every year including 2,500,000 international passengers and 6,650,000 domestic passengers. The domestic terminals are served by city buses, but public transport is not available for the international terminal.
Founded in 1926 in Berlin, following a merger between 'Deutsche Aero Lloyd' (DAL) and 'Junkers Luftverkehr', Lufthansa's original name was Deutsche Luft Hansa Aktiengesellschaft. The word 'Lufthansa' was adopted in 1933.Lufthansa fought the World War II in 1939, but was suspended following the defeat of Germany in 1945.
