Mohammed V International Airport or Casablanca Airport ( CMN ) is located in Nouasseur, 30 kilometres southeast of Casablanca. Operated by the National Airports Office, the Mohammed V International Airport is the busiest airport in Morocco. The airport boasts of 2 terminals and two parking lots - 1600 cars outside the Departures terminal and 880 cars outside the Arrival terminal. Passengers can avail the shuttle train service, which operates from the airport Arrivals hall to Casablanca port and the city centre or take a bus or taxi. Besides the regular facilities, the CMN airport is facilitated with disabled services. The airlines served by the CMN airport include Air France, Etihad Airways, Emirates, Luftansa and others.
Founded in 1926 in Berlin, following a merger between 'Deutsche Aero Lloyd' (DAL) and 'Junkers Luftverkehr', Lufthansa's original name was Deutsche Luft Hansa Aktiengesellschaft. The word 'Lufthansa' was adopted in 1933.Lufthansa fought the World War II in 1939, but was suspended following the defeat of Germany in 1945. South Atlantic routes were resumed in August 1956. Today, Lufthansa Airlines is Europe's largest airline and also the flag carrier of Germany. The name of the company is derived from Luft (the German word for ""air""), and Hansa (after Hanseatic League, the powerful medieval trading group).
