GMG Airlines Logo GMG Airlines (Z5), the largest private airlines of Bangladesh has been successfully operating for the last 13 years, since 1998. Its head office is located in the AAA Tower in Nikunjo-2, Dhaka, in Bangladesh. The oldest and largest private carrier of Bangladesh, GMG Airlines operates both domestic and international flight services. The main bases of the airline are Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, and Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong.

GMG Airlines Baggage Allowance

The Baggage Allowance regulation of Garuda Indonesia gives 30 kilograms of free luggage allowance for Executive Class passengers, and 20 kilograms allowance for Economy Class passengers. The airline also allows free carry-on items, which must fit in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of the passenger.

As of April, 2011, GMG Airlines covers a total of 12 different destinations across Bangladesh and abroad. Some of the important destinations covered by GMG Airlines are Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Dhaka, Jessore, and Sylhet in Bangladesh, Kolkata in India, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Karachi in Pakistan, Bangkok in Thailand, Dubai in United Arab Emirates, and, Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.

Currently, the fleet of GMG Airlines consists of 8 aircrafts: two Boeing 767, one Bombardier Dash 8 100, two Bombardier Dash 8 300, two McDonnell Douglas MD-82, and one McDonnell Douglas MD-83 aircraft. The average age of GMG aircrafts is 15.6 years, as of 2011. To fulfill the increasing demands of air transportation, GMG is ready to expand its fleet and routes rapidly.
