Air Asia
Air Asia (AK), a leading airline was formed with a dream of making flying possible for everyone. Today, AirAsia is the largest low-fare and low-cost travel airline in Asia. Along with its subsidiaries, AK operates both, domestic and international flights to more than 400 destinations in 25 countries. The primary hub of the airline is in Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and registered office at Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Air Asia's affiliate airlines, Indonesia AirAsia and Thai AirAsia, have their respective hubs in Soekarno-Hatta International airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport, respectively.
Air Asia Baggage Allowance
As per Air Asia's baggage allowance policy guests can take in a maximum of 15 kg of checked baggage with them. However, any further increase would be in increments of 5 kg and would be chargeable as per kg basis at Airport check-in counters. Manual wheelchairs, baby buggies, walking frames and mobility devices can be carried free of cost. There is no fee charge for infant's baggage allowance. The airline does not provide any baggage allowance on the purchase of an extra seat.

With over 400 daily flightson domestic and international routes, AirAsia covers important destinations like Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand along with other international destinations like Australia, Brunei, Bangladesh, China, Cambodia, India, Myanmar, Laos, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Vietnam, and South Korea. AirAsia presents Economy Class and Premium Economy Class travel with Airbus 340 and Airbus 330 long-haul journeys. AirAsia in-flight services include a purchase on board programme called as "Snack Attack" which offers food and drinks for sale onboard. Air Asia fleet includes 6 Airbus A320-214 and 48 Airbus A320-216 aircrafts. in addition, the fleet of AirAsia AirAsia X, Thai AirAsia, and Indonesia AirAsia comprises of, 90 Airbus A320-200, 2 Airbus A340-300, and 4 Boeing 737-300 aircrafts.
Air Asia Awards & Recognition
AirAsia won the Skytrax World's best low-cost airline award in the years 2009 and 2010. The airline was also recognized as Airline of the year 2007 by Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation.
