Nice setting and view. Good maintenance. Good owner. :)

Though the location and ambience at the hotel was good, the hosts were overbearing and found wanting on attention to guestÂ’s problems. For example outside packed food was not permitted in the room even for children. Only persistence could make them look in to faulty bath tub jam. The same was however repaired after 3/4 of stay. The stay turned in to average owing to these factors.

It was a mesmerising experience. Felt divine amidst the beautiful nature. sumptuous home cooked food, completely breathtaking view from the lovely cottage. couldn't have asked for better. very tastefully made cottages.

Although I could not see the mountains due to bad weather, I could still enjoy the hospitality, and impressive flower nursery just underneath the hotel. It is worth to stay a few more nights even not in the timing to have the mountain view.

Windsongs is a homestay, owned by the Pradhans, who run a nursery. Locating the place was a wee bit difficult, since no signage has been put up. However, once located, it was a song all the way! The location, the rooms, the food and the warm hospitality where of the greatest standards, and the warmth of the host made all the difference. They have just three rooms to offer in their sprawling nursery and that is probably the reason they have been able to maintain such high standards. The rooms where large and spotless, with all amenities, including free Wi-Fi!! The view from the verandah would take your breath away. You have Kanchenjunga on one side and the valley with a river flowing through it. The food served was excellent and yummy! I would highly recommend this gem of place to all, who want a peaceful/romantic stay in Kalimpong.

Windsong - the name truly befits this resort. It was a wonderful 2 day stay for us. The view from the windows was awesome. Just imagine sitting and having a relaxing bath in the bath tub while looking out at the Kanchenjunga peak! The warm hospitality of the owner Mrs Pradhan and the staff coupled with excellent food made us wish we had stayed a few days more. I strongly recommend this home away from home for those who wish for peace and tranquillity for a few days.

Windsongs made my trip most memorable till date. I don't have a chance to rate more than five, I can give 10 out of five to this great place. Rather than calling it as a cottage, I can name it as an individual resort. Hospitality is amazing and food was yummy (great home made food). Trust me guys with out Windsongs experience - Kalimpong trip will be incomplete. My special thanks to Smrithi who made us feel like a VVIP. I wish Windsongs is going to be a land mark for Kalimpong. Guys trust me I'm writing this review because no one should miss the experience. Thank you so much once again to Windsongs - A 7 star experience and value for money.
