Windsor Lodge is located 100 km away from the nearest airport which is in Pant Nagar. The nearest railway station is Kathgodam, about 88 km away. It is situated in Kalika Estate of Dadgallia area in Ranikhet.

Windsor Lodge was built in 1909 at Kalika Estate on the outskirts of Ranikhet cantonment. Located at a vantage point atop a wooded hillock, Windsor Lodge commands spectacular views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks, thick oak, pine and cedar forests and Ranikhet golf course. Over the years, it transformed a summer retreat for British elite and Indian royalty seeking relief. Restored in 1999, today, the Windsor Lodge complex comprises seven buildings with colonial charm. Liberal use of timber and stone brought alive their vibrant antiquity. Late 19th and early 20th century styles and designs have been synergized with modern day amenities and safety requirements. The interiors are lavishly appointed and furnished.

Hotel Facilities
Windsor Lodge offers a range of facilities and services, including STD/IDD telephone, cable TV, dry-cleaning and laundry, room service, health club, business centre with internet, billiards, table-tennis and indoor games and golf at KRC Golf Course. Outdoor activities include, rock climbing, rappelling, river-crossing and trekking. Windsor Lodge also boasts of its kids' park, sun-decks, gardens and terraces. Room Amenities
The hotel has 26 luxurious suites and guest rooms with en-suite bathrooms, including the popular Robinson suites, offering breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks. One can also go for the Penthouse Suite with picture windows all around. All Suites and Superior Deluxe rooms are tastefully furnished in colonial style. They have modern amenities including cable TV, hot/cold running water, telephones, mini bar, tea/coffee maker and a live fireplace.

Dining
The Kumaon room is a multi-cuisine fine dining restaurant, offering tandoori, Indian and continental specialties.

Kafal Bagh is an al-fresco restaurant. The restaurant is named after Kafal trees which surround the hotel along with pine forest and the golf course.

Raja of Shiekhupura is a lounge, offering a large variety of beverages and snacks. Named in honor of Raja of Sheikhupura, a regular at Windsor Lodge. Located on the terrace, its a perfect place to have fun and party.

Conference Facilities
Harkison Hall is available for formal meeting, conferences, parties and functions. It can accommodate up to 100 persons for a sit-down banquet and over 250 persons for an informal gatherings. Facilities include state-of-the-art audio-visual and conferencing services.
