Most of the rooms of hotel are good, but in first instance room given by hotel was not good. After discussion it was changed to a better room. Over all staff was good,very cooperative. Tkank god, in very busy days we got a good hotel. Thanks Makemytrip.

The standard of the rooms are in a horrible stage. The cleaning of the rooms are not upto the mark of the welcome heritage standard. The staffs are ill trainned.Tips was there only expectation. This is the first hotel where i have seen staffs are asking for hefty tips.

Good and efficient service- especially Mr Jaffer who took good care of us telling all the good shopping and tourist spots. Definetly a palace to live

Truly an heritage hotel though priced high. variety in food is neccesary. waiters and rooms boys were very helpful and courteous. especially the waiter Jagdish.

Good one, very cooperative, atleast they offer Single glass of water and give us a place to sit for a while.

Excellent property but desperately needs renovation. The service can improve even though the staff makes a sincere effort to make your stay pleasant. Very courteous and polite. An extensive renovation could probably make it the best hotel in Nainital. Fantastic building and lovely view of the lake from the room. Very spacious rooms. Though the steep approach makes it a tad uncomfortable especially at the end of a day when you are tired.

The hotel is located in an elevated land which offers a splendid view of the Naini Lake and the view of the cable cars going up and down the slope. The courtesy of all the staff particularly Mr. Kundan Singh was really touching. He was polite, pleasing and offered all types of assistance. His guidance on the best cab, best tourist spots, medical facility, planning and advising for the number of days we stay etc., were really to be appreciated. The room was very spacious, food was excellent, staff were polite and helpful. The types of toiletries provided were good (Biotic was provided). The stay was wonderful with pleasant memories. I would like to return to this hotel again. I will surely recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives.

Excellent service. We went in off season (February) so we were practically the only guests and therefore enjoyed all the attention. The meals and breakfast were excellent and made to order. One down side is the location. Though it is centrally located, the access road is to steep and narrow and can accommodate smaller cars only. We had hired a tempo traveller that had to be parked in the market for INR 120 per day.

The hotel staff's behavior and service made our vacation even more memorable. I've a kid of 1 year, and the staff helped us with all her needs. I'll recommend this hotel to all who wish to visit Nainital.
