ItÂ’s a good experience with Usha Ascot nice food, service, clean swimming pool, decent people, nice disco without drink and smoke, nice dinner location with live music. In short itÂ’s a beautiful place for families to come once in a year.

So you decided upon Matheran for the long awaited break? Not a bad choice at all! But, you know, watching those spectacular views of the valleys, the amazing sunrise, morning walks with the sun's rays peeping through the fog and the fresh leaves of tall trees, a female monkey lovingly picking fleas while tending milk to its kid, beautiful exotic birds whose names you don't know - all are extremely soul satisfying. But if you are like me, your body accustomed to a desk is not really ready for it. There's a good chance that the pleasure gets buried with fatigue. But how about you returning from a 2.5 hour morning walk to a pleasant hot-water bath, tasty breakfast and may be a dip in a clean swimming pool? Better still, how about coming to a delicious pool-side dinner with live rendering of ghazals after a long , pleasant-but-tiring tour of sunset points? Only thing I found missing was an espresso machine. More than compensated by the friendly and prompt service though.

Overall the hotel is good and is recommended. Improvement - Toilet / Bathroom was not upto the 3 Star standards.

ItÂ’s a very good hotel, with swimming pool and garden. Good food and room.

Well located and neat and clean rooms. Service could be better with some indication arrows as to facilities within the hotel. Upkeep of indoor games can definitely be improved.

Matheran hotels are costlier compared to those in other tourist spots. The hotel has a nice infrastrutcure, swings everywhere, a good shuttle court. Discotheque. We had a nice evening in the resort. Food quality was average.
