Excellent for family stay and value for money.

Great hotel in historic style. Perfect service. Clean rooms. Just breakfast is somehow poor for european taste.

Umaid Mahal has all the features to make it the best in its class in terms of value for money. As we were in a room directly below the rooftop restaurant we felt noises through the floor on account of the activity above (esp. due to some tapping or slight hammering sounds). Some good carpeting should easily help overcome this. A lot of effort has been made to maintain and uplift the ornate decor and this will be very well appreciated by the toursit who is looking for something of the bespoke kind in such a place as Jaipur.

Very good location and very friendly staff. A little costly on the food and beverages. The service at the rooftop restaurant was very bad. We had to wait for 45 minutes and three reminders to the waiter before we got our food.

Nasty guys. First they took us to Umaid Bhavan which is their low graded property although our reservation was in Umaid Mahal. When we complained, they said that was a mistake. Manager was rude. Then we were told they didn't have enough Royal Delux rooms which we reserved originally, so we ended up getting only one. Last but not the least, we were not given any invoice/bill as we reserved through MakeMyTrip.com but we needed the bill for our reimbursement. I always use hotel.com and others but never had such an issue. When asked for the owner to specially request about the bill, he was worse than the manager. Their overall treatment was horrible. Food was average. We will never go there or reccommend anybody.

Value for money, will highly recommend to everyone.

Good hotel but options of food and breakfast are limited to Indian palate only.

This beautiful and comfortable hotel is ideal for a sight-seeing or business trip to Jaipur. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and clean, and the food in the hotel restaurant was of good quality as well. Throw in the Rajput decor and the history of this former palace, and the Umaid Mahal is a great find.

The hotel was very good and the room was excellent. But the room service was not up to the mark.
